ACTIVITY CHECK -- ADDITIONAL THREADS FOR SEPTEMBER

The following characters require additional threads and/or logs to fulfill activity criteria for September. The hiatus post was cleared of any expired hiatus dates, so any of the individuals who were on a valid hiatus during the month of September should not find their characters here. All the terms for activity requirements are detailed here.

Keep in mind that if you do not comment on the hiatus post or let a mod know, your hiatus does not count. It is your responsibility to comment on the hiatus post. Making a hiatus note on the OOC comm does not count.

If you spot any mistakes or dropped characters, please let us know.

You have until October 7th to comment with additional threads from the month of September. Those who do not supply any or sufficient additional threads will be moved to the sweep list. We've noted who needs reduced amounts due to hiatus.

So, now, after we've gotten this clarification - there are characters who are still being asked to provide more activity, even though they participated in two logs.

Which means that you have changed the policy that has been in place for as long as I can remember, without any question about how the community feels about it.

For several How's the Game posts we've brought up the issue of Activity and whether it should change or not. We've discussed to ends about how much is enough and it's NEVER been explained this way. Ever.

If you put your tag to a post, you have participated in the post. It should count for your activity whether you provide it HERE in the additional threads request or if it is counted before we even get put on this post.

This is a complete policy change from what we've had before, and I don't care how many times you try and tell me this is how it's always been done, I know from experience that it's not. It should be clear from how many long-term players have wound up on this list and are expressing their absolute bafflement by it that it is a complete turnaround.

I second this comment. Before this AC, any character who had a post plus a log, or even no posts but TWO logs was safe. This sudden change without a heads up really is not fair to players who have passed AC before that way, and now are not passing this time.

I have to call bullshit when I see it, and this is bullshit. Sorry.

I've read over everything commented on so far, and I have to agree with what's been said by the players concerned over this. I rarely, if ever, use the logs comm, but in the 4+ years I've been a part of this game, this has never been the way AC has been handled before. It's incredibly unfair to have it sprung on the playerbase like this, especially since you're asking for "more activity" when, in the past, the links provided would have easily sufficed.

Frankly, I'm pretty surprised and disappointed at how this is looking to turn out.

As someone who admittedly barely scraped by on activity this month, seeing people infinitely more active than me being on this list and treated like this is both depressing and kind of disgusting.

Been here since day one and this has never been an issue with logs.

And really, do we need one more reason to discourage people to do logs?
