TRIAL THE FIRST: THE PEOPLE OF THE CASTLE AND CITY ROYALE VS. HARVEY DENT, AKA TWO-FACE

With judge Apollo presiding. Lead prosecutor TBD. Lead liason with defendant Sakura.

Harvey Dent is being tried by a jury of his peers for the kidnapping and assault of a fellow castle resident. STILL FLESHING THIS OUT.

Of note and to be brought up by Sakura during the course of the hearing: Harvey has threatened suicide, may or may not be trusted as reported from Two-Face. Suffers from split personalities. Strongly suggested to spearhead rehabilitation with therapy (suggests Sweets) and movement restrictions (to the castle), such as would be familiar to Earth USA modern day citizens as house arrest. Enforced by magic or device. Also tracking -- conviction means registery with a tracking board, magical or technological.

The Jury shall (based on names compiled and run through random.org) consist of Tavros, Stocking, Adachi, Alleyne, and Cloud. This isn't running real time, but if anyone feels they would not be up for their character participating in this first trial, please let me know.

ICly these characters will be approached and asked (read: potentially bribed) into assisting in this case to find guity and assign consequences to Harvey Dent, a.k.a. Two Face.

Locations used in this trial will include the Ballroom for the trial proceedings, and the unoccupied first room on the left of Terrere Tower for jury deliberation. Journals will be tied and taped shut on jury entrance, the room will be charmed/warded/etc to maintain a sound barrier between inside and outside. Chat freely! No one outside can hear you. So also avoid murdering each other... please.

Punishment should be decided OOCly before the trial goes up, with a brief show of the collective evidence (I'll provide, and hopefully some of you shall too). Whatever character's IC reactions are, go with those; the judge will have the ability to nix anything deemed "beyond reasonable punishment," but hey, who knows what that is. Jury is coming up with the sentencing: Sakura and whoever runs prosecution will be offering suggestions as to what these punishments should be, after presenting evidence, etc.

Sakura's currently in process of interviewing Uru for more information on this case; if your charcter has any knowledge of Harvey Dent and/or Two Face's activities within Paradisa, please let me know here. If it would not be in a Patrol file, I need to figure out if and how that information can be obtained.

Um. Um. Um. If you still don't have a prosecutor... Eleven DOES have experience as a lawyer in the courts of Paradisa. He's also very intent on Harvey being brought to justice after what he did. And, hey, you mess with one of his companions you mess with the Doctor.

He does have some info about Harvey Dent but I don't think it's anything that people wouldn't know already. He was also there when they brought him in.

The only thing is that I see that ICly it's going down this weekend. I'm working at a farm stand both days to help out a friend and have a thing going down on Saturday night. I'll have my phone on me and can tag from there but I can't absolutely guarantee that I'll be the fastest thing in the world. If that'll hold people up too much then I'm willing to let someone else take the reins on this one.
