It's been a long, long time in Paradisa, folks, but this has been a long time in coming.

Tony Stark and Evangeline McDowell are leaving the castle, and with that, I am also bowing out of the game.

It's been a long time coming, but I've been struggling with activity, motivation, and a feeling of burnout in the game for a long time now. There's no one particular reason, and I still love the game, but after a lot of consideration, this is what's best.

Paradisa's been my home for... over four years, now. Since May of 2007. That's a long time. I've met a lot of amazing people, seen awesome characters come and go, and done a lot during my stay here. Being here has helped me through rough times in my life, given me some of my best friends, and honestly provided me with some of my finest memories.

It's hard to sum up just how much the game has and does mean to me, and it was an even harder decision to make.

I still love this game though, so don't be surprised if I get my drive back and end up dragging myself back some time in the future.

Anyway, as for my characters, Tony's gone, and Eva's gone in game as well (but sticking around in the comms long enough to finish one last thread.) They've each been around in Paradisa for a long time, and they've each done their fair share during their time here. They've each made their own impacts to the game, Tony especially....

He's helped establish the Peace Patrol, and given the castle its prison, garage, the PPHQ in the basement, a working cell phone tower, and helped out a lot of characters with their technological needs. Not to mention giving Iron Man suits to the first gens. (Whoops.)

With all of that stuff, he's going to leave a lot behind for people. A lot of it is for people's general use, but some specifics as to people getting his things:

Once Tony is registered as gone from the Peace Patrol systems, all accesses and rights to everything Peace Patrol-related will switch solely over to Yuan (with editable permissions to similarly switch over to others if Yuan were to leave.) The PP will be in capable hands. (Probably more capable than Tony's, if just for the fact Yuan is sober for more than 12 hours at a time.)

Tony will be leaving six sports cars in the castle garage, all of them he's worked on himself. One of them is going to Jr. Feel free to claim one of the other five. :3c

All of his alcohol goes to Courage. Drink up, drunkard Navy bro!

Beyond that, most of the tech he's worked on will end up in the PP headquarters for everybody's use.

More specifically though, all of Tony's Iron Man suits, being built in Paradisa as opposed to coming with him, will be there as well. He has a Mark II, Mark III, Mark V, two Mark VIs, and the Exorcist armors, all of which upgraded beyond canon with Red & Blue forcefields and a security system including verbal external shutdown. They also acknowledge a person's biorhythm and can only be activated when piloted by somebody Tony's programmed to be able to: no more stolen suits. They can only be piloted by one of the Doctors, York, Yuan, Rhodey (Tony's canonmate, if he were to be apped in the future,) Wolfwood, or Clark Kent (though why would he need to?)

Tony's also spent the last month/month and a half working on a steam-powered ATV in the powered-side outpost, ready to go out into the Dead Zone for a test run. I'll leave the outcome of that particular experiment to the mods, and think of it as Tony's last favor to the people of Paradisa. (It would make expeditions a little easier, if it works.)

Anyway, if you have any question to whether Tony may have built something, assume the answer is yes and it's buried somewhere in the mass of tech he's left behind. Also, if Tony's talked about helping build something for your character specifically, assume he got that finished during his last bit in the castle.

As for Evangeline, she'll be leaving her kitty, Hel, to Rin (even though the kitty is almost two years old by this point, she's still a kitty,) along with a single gothic lolita outfit that Eva was saving to force Rin to wear. A depowered and completely mundane puppet, Chachazero, will go to Nanako, because she is messed up like that. Everything else goes home with her (especially her haxx magic castle within a magic castle.)

Yeah, I figured the Doctors wouldn't be too keen on piloting what are essentially the best weapons ever invented. But at the same time, it's more of a measure of trust. He knows they won't misuse them.
