THIS IS A PLOT SIGN-UP POST. YOUR ATTENTION, GIVE IT TO ME.

So, long story short, various plot reasons (Rose's humanity loss, Rose's arrival in general, lack of Elena's positive influence, the trial, Rose finding out she dies, Stefan's arrival, Stefan attacking Lana, Lana hating him etc.) Damon has grown pretty self-destructive, and when Damon gets self-destructive, he gets other-people-destructive too. What does this mean? It means you can sign up to be a victim.

Damon is going to be going around for the weekend of July 15-17 eating people. "But, Tiffany," you may ask, "how is that different from normal Damon?" Well, boys and girls, he'll be doing it more seriously and actually be getting caught. Intensely caught.

On days one and two, there will just be serious wounds. The kind that could be hinging on mortal or would be mortal if there weren't instant healers at the clinic, but neither of those characters are going to die. Then the second victim will be compelled to place the blame on Angel, and Damon will suggest they track him down before it gets worse. On the third day, he'll kill, and make it look like it's Angel. A full-on hunt for Angel(us) will be going on after the 17th until it gets sorted out.

At this point, it will be Wesley who figures out it's Damon and not Angel. Anyone else who wants to get in on the plot should be hunting after Angel anytime after the announcements go up! No one other than people I've already talked to should be suspecting it's actually Damon. Damon will disappear around this time and Wesley will be telling people that he's left the castle.

Meanwhile, Wesley will be torturing Damon in private. I'm looking at Morgana or Lana for people who might potentially realize that Damon isn't actually gone and go to stop Wesley before he kills him. If you're interested in being a part of this group and aren't listed, let me know! If you are listed and want to confirm being a part of this group, also let me know.

SUMMARY: I'D LIKE 3 VICTIM VOLUNTEERS FOR PEOPLE TO GET INJURED/KILLED BY DAMON. 1 DEATH, 2 SURVIVORS. If these numbers aren't met, I'll just use NPC townspeople for the victim o' the day. If you'd like to volunteer, please let me know which of the roles beneath the cut you want your character in.

Victim 1 (July 15th) will be attacked in one of two ways, you get a choice. In scenario 1, Damon will sneak up on them from behind and due to his super strength and speed, they won't be able to get a clear look at him before he disappears. In scenario 2, the more likely scenario, he'll drag it out and not care that he's seen, but then compel (basically mind control) them to forget his involvement, forget his face, and so forth.

Victim 2 (July 16th) will be attacked in a dragged out way, and Damon won't bother hiding his identity. However, when he's done drinking from them, he'll compel them into believing with all their heart and soul that it's Angel who attacked them. They will suspect NOTHING about this being falsehood, it'll be exactly what their memory tells them is true and there will be no hint of Damon left over. If your character isn't the type to tell people about their injury, and you still want to sign up for this, he can also compel them to be enthusiastic about spreading the word. They will be required to make a post alerting the castle at large to the fact that Angel is the one responsible for the attacks.

Victim 3 will be killed on July 17th, under the new death rules. Please get in touch with me as soon as you can if you want this to be your character so that we can get in touch with the mods.

As far as what kind of people should be volunteering their characters, it is not required that you have prior CR with Damon or Angel! It'd be best if victim 2 had prior CR with Angel, but Damon will be attacking at random, meaning he probably won't actually be going for people he has prior CR with and it'd be BETTER, in fact, if they were new people he hasn't met before, or has neutral, passing acquaintanceship with. This means it could be a great way for you to make new CR with either the Vampire Diaries or Buffyverse casts!

Reminder: before volunteering to be part of a death or maiming plot, you should give your characters' close CR fair warning.

Sobs I started planning this stuff out before I got a cast so I'm like /TRIES TO FIND HOW TO FIT STEF AND CARO AND BONNAY IN. Maybe before it comes out that it's Angel, she could be worried that it's Stefan and try and like intervention Stefan lmao?

Seeing as this is going down as this is all Angel, etc, Stefan probably won't be that prevalent at the time. I don't think he'll have reason to suspect Damon unless you want him to? I'm pretty open. Plus, Stefan's been wrapped up in his own problems.

This is for discussion about what happens within the cast to deal with Angel potentially being Angelus based on Damon having the victim accuse him, etc.

As of right now there hasn't been anything concrete sorted out. I know Christina mentioned wanting Faith to come after Angel, and Shana and I talked about Spike actually coming to Angel's defense (possibly against Faith, who probably won't be very willing to reason--slay first, as questions later type situation). Beyond that, there hasn't been anything discussed. Beyond that, there's nothing as far as I know. So if you are part of this cast or have CR with Angel and want to figure some stuff out/how your character would react, this is where to plot that out.

Angel will not react with fight or flight unless he is attacked and doesn't know why--hence Faith. So if more people want to come after him guns-a-blazin', we can figure out more possible skirmishes (and less action-oriented discussions) as well. Just tag here and we can go from there.

ETA! -- Alright, so after he realizes he is being hunted by Faith (and whoever else wants to give it a go), Angel will be making a break for Caritas because crazy Slayer powers don't work in there. Plus, Lorne is the best person to prove he is innocent since there will be no deaths in his head ... recent deaths, anyway. But yeah anything before that is open to anyone. Potential for new CR is go~

Here's the thing with Faith. This kept getting pushed back and given things that have happened in-game she was actually getting ready to go talk to Angel this week. Of course, depending on that talk - it might still go where Faith is ticked that she trusted him only to find out that he's been doing this. I'm just not sure if Faith will go against him or not, because it will depend on how it's presented to her.

I'm good for whatever happens, like I told Brian a few times, having Faith go all "I knew you were evil!" was just an idea I had that I thought would work well with this plot. But, I also don't want to force the fight just so that I can have that breakthrough moment.

Yeah, this is... pretty much what I know about so far too. I guess Spike will for whatever reason manage to find Angel first/earlyish and then go ...wait a second, you totally aren't evil, then they can have one of those on the run from the law for something I didn't do parties with the goal being to get to Caritas?

People are welcome to doubt Spike's somewhat tenuous good guy status as well, since why the hell would be be teaming up with Angelus if he was good.

OK, so both my girls are in this cast so I guess I should put up a notice here.

Fred -- I imagine she will be busy enough worrying over Angel/Angelus (she remembers Angelus even more than most of cast), helping Lorne out and generally bouncing off everyone. I imagine there will be some involvement with Wesley through association. Unless there is some INSANE reason otherwise she is not open for attack or death. This is a plot that I know Wesley/Lilah/Damon have been working on for months now -- simply not Fred's story other than the fact these are her FRIENDS. She will be impassioned and involved and absolutely open to new CR. If she is needed for any other plot points, of course I am game.

Willow -- If you need her magical tendencies at all, just please let me know. Again she has close ties to all the people involved. I suppose I *am* open to her being injured and even possibly killed. I would have to reach out to her CR first, but it is possible. However, if people withOUT Angel/Buffy CR want these slots, I think it is great to welcome them into the fold. Again, either way just let me know.

I will be off leave and back limping around work, but am totally willing to schedule the time.

I know I talked with Annie about possibly using Willow's magic to try to break the compulsion used on Lilah (which is what's supposed to reveal it's Damon to Wesley, iirc?). So there's always at least that?

Yeah, I'm not gonna edit it into the post, but I figure it's a given that ... you should talk to your immediate CR about it and I'll make sure that anyone who volunteers at least factors that in.

Sometimes people get so excited to take part in an event, asking their CR ahead of time slips their mind, haha... It wouldn't hurt to leave a little side-note somewhere as a reminder? (We had issues with this during the Slenderman plot, even though it was stressed then to talk to your CR beforehand.)

Wes Hulk Smash Sub plotting thread

I figure it's best to put up a sub-thread here just to clarify a few things.

Wes/Lilah/Damon: This plot has been going on for months, since before Spring festival. Wes recently found out that Lilah's scarves have been covering up the vampire bites. He has been upset about this and believed Lilah cheated on him and has been a willing fangbanger for some time. However, since the Housewarming party, he's now starting to believe Lilah is in trouble, but he hasn't put all of the pieces together yet. He DOES know that Damon has the power to give mental nudges to people, however, he doesn't know the extent of these powers yet.

During the Rose rampage, Damon told Wes how to subdue/weaken vampires of his kind with vervain, wooden bullets etc.

At some point over the 15th -17th (with some possible forward dated posts), Wes will realise that Angel/Angelus is just a diversion. He will seek Willow's help to get past Lilah's mental blocks. When that is successful, he will know that it's probably Damon causing all of this trouble. Since he not only bit Lilah but also compelled Lilah to have sex with him regularly, Wes is gonna turn into the REVENGE monster.

Which means, he will take matters into his own hands and remove Damon as a threat. He will subdue him and take him to the caves which were once used as a prison. He will keep him there for a week or so, surrounded by vervain plants etc, torturing him and so on, until Morgana and Lana figure out that Damon hasn't gone home and is in serious trouble.

Please note that we can't get everything done in 3 days, and I have to go on a week long no net vacation with family from 18th -26th, so if it's okay, it would be preferable to have the confrontation with Wes and freeing of Damon to be the weekend following my return. If that makes sense?

As far as I'm concerned, the 27th is a great day to start running the freeing of Damon. We can forward or back-date a torture log with Damon and Wes to give an idea of what that week was like, if you want? And then on the 27th Morgana can have her bb precog moment about the caves, and the 28th-29th can be when the freeing actually goes down. How does this sound?
