So I told Babs' about this a few days ago, and a few people on my plurk already know it's happening, but... I'm dropping Kara.

As I'm sure a lot of you know, I caught the Para burnout about a month ago and while it's fairly easy to getting back into the swing of things with Bruce, I'm just really sort of struggling with Kara. So instead of stressing out about it even more, I'm letting her go back to the land of Suck and Retcons. (Funnily enough, I made the decision to drop her and then the next day DC fandom exploded.)

Ollie and Lana are now Sansa's parents. Her cat, Autumn is going to need someone to look after it. She's got a few little things stored throughout the castle for a few people and a will of sorts with the hiding places listed tucked into a crack in her wall that she wrote for if she ever went home.

→ Steph gets all her clothes/movies/whatever that ~mysteriously~ made their way into her room.
→ There's a book of legends from other planets tucked away in a corner of the library for Lois.
→ In the kitchen on top of some cabinets is a journal filled with stories of the heroes from home for Uru.
→ Hidden in the hallway on the eighth floor is a note for Damian.
→ In a tree in the forest is a Skittles cookie recipe for Rin and a brush for Tad.
→ Karkat just gets a little note hidden in the dining room that says GOTCHA. ONE LAST ANNOYANCE. ♥
→ Clark gets nothing since he already knows she loves him to bits and pieces. :|b
→ Zeke gets all the movies and knitting projects she's left in his room. There's likely little post-its hidden in drawers with hearts on them too because Kara is a giant dork.

Thanks so much for all the fun I've had with her here, guys. She's gone through a lot, grew in ways I never expected and made some really, really awesome CR while she was here. I'll miss it lots and lots.

But for now it's Goodbye, Farewell and Amen from her. (points if you get the reference)

And I'm still here with Bruce so I'm not leaving completely and there can still be shenanigans had. Just... not with the flying torso.

It's all good. I juts dfghjkl-- Man, I wish I could have been a better RP partner, I really do.

I mean, obviously I have enjoyed every thread we have ever done and all that, and all the fun I've had I wouldn't take back, and I just wanted to say that Kara was pretty much one of the coolest characters I have ever had the pleasure of reading in Paradisa, and I really do mean that. I promise. So, yeah.

Sorry to hear about the burnout. I've felt it too, so I can totally see where you're coming from as far as that all goes. Gotta do what's best for you, bud. ♥

This was really really really sad and unexpected to wake up to. I'm so so sorry to see her go, but I'm so glad you're at least staying with Bruce. ;__;

Getting to play Lois & Kara's relationship here has been something of an RP dream come true, and was so rewarding. Thank you for all their threads ever.

You can expect him to act stupid and to grieve in that stupid, sentimental way he does. He knows she's not dead or anything like that, but she's still gone, which to him is just as bad.

I completely understand how difficult a choice this was for you and I am glad that you stuck it out with her for as long as you did. I will miss seeing her around terribly and Ollie will definitely miss having her around.

It really gave me the Kara & Ollie friendship that was missing in Smallville and I am SO glad I got to play with her and write with you!

Now to just get Ollie or Mindy to talk to Bruce and we can have CR again!

Aw shit. Now I feel absolutely horrible for not doing more with Lana and Kara's relationship, sob. But I understand being in that position, definitely.

I'll miss her loads! And at least Bruce is still around to argue with. ♥
