vampire drama: better than baby mama drama?

Are YOU a vampire? Do you love/hate vampires?! Do you love/hate people who love/hate vampires?! Do you have an affiliation with the Vatican?! Are you a human prone to badassery?!

Do any of the above apply to you? Then THIS LOSS MIGHT AS WELL!

The short version: Esther and Abel will be going on a loss requiring volunteers to play a part of one of two available sides.

Esther's team will be looking for volunteers to be humans or vampires who would align themselves with the Vatican for the purpose of protecting humans.

Abel's team will be looking for volunteers to be vampires of evil alignment who want to crush humanity. That's right, folks! These are the bad guys. We're looking for vampires who want to nom the crap out of or otherwise destroy/maim mankind. (Humans are the other other white meat.) Characters who are already vampires would be preferable (so we don't have to work out the abilities/strengths/etc), but we can totally turn you vamp if you're interested.

The long version:

A long, long time ago in the Trinity Blood universe, there was a war. Methuselah (or vampires) appeared on earth and began oppressing, dominating, and demolishing mankind. They were lead by three "Demon Kings" -- Abel, and his two siblings, Seth and Cain. Humanity was saved by the Holy Madonna -- an "angel" who descended from Heaven who rallied mankind together against these fearsome creatures; that woman was Lilith, who's part will be filled in by Esther in our little scenario here.

Our volunteers will believe they're soldiers of rank in a war of humans vs "methuselah," or vampires. Esther's side will be aligned with the Vatican in the protection of humans, keeping the vampires from killing/destroying our innocent residents and townspeople. Abel's side will be trying to rile up those less-than morally inclined residents to take up arms and start wiping out the good guys, convincing them humans are worthless, and ordering his troops to do ~bad things~ etc etc what a jerk. How successful he'll be is questionable, but our volunteers will be stirring shit up. For this reason, the groups will be small to avoid turning this into something huge and scary!

Even so, it'll still be intense, so please make sure you're up for it before getting involved. (As always, it's good to contact your character's close CR if they'd be effected before volunteering.) There is guaranteed to be conflict -- if only psychological for some, so be aware of that!

Who we're looking for:

On Esther's side: Esther is the "Holy Madonna" with power equivalent to the Pope's during this dire war for survival; you are her holy knights protecting mankind from the scourge known as the vampire and in service to the Vatican. Vampires on this side are akin to "angels" or "saints," and the humans here would be soldiers.

[Needs FIVE or SIX VOLUNTEERS who fit the criteria:]
- humans who possess combat skills (monster hunters/vampire hunters would be bonus!)
- vampires who, despite their "species," wish to protect humans/protect life
- anyone who'd like to be turned into one of the above for this loss (ex: a demon who wants to be a vampire or a human fighting for good for this plot)

On Abel's side: Abel has been leading the war against the "terrans" (humans) for decades, ushering the Methuselah (vampires) to destroy mankind. Humans are cattle; prey; vermin, and they deserve to die. Vampires on this side are soldiers, some of rank, who are out destroy without mercy. We are the evolved, the rightful species.

[Needs FIVE VOLUNTEERS who fit the criteria.]
- vampires who enjoy sating their bloodlust or who, for this loss, would lose their moral compunction to do otherwise. arrogance and superiority complexes are bonuses.
- characters who would become methuselah/vampires keen on dominating mankind


PLEASE NOTE:
- volunteers would remember being residents of Paradisa, but believe they'd arrived recently. they know the whole gist, have journals, etc -- but won't recall their CR and will believe they're from earth in whatever roles they're filling.
- there will be plenty of opportunities for involvement even if you aren't a volunteer! the bad guys will be opening up by starting trouble in town and there will be open posts throughout, so if you're interested in getting in on the action or involved in the loss, you'll be more than able.
- Methuselah in Abel's world are not "vampires" of the typical sense, but for the sake of this loss, it doesn't matter what kind of "vampire" you are! it'll work! if someone calls you Methuselah, you'll know why.

tl;dr:

Humans vs vampires loss here! There will be some stirring up of trouble and plenty of chances for people who don't volunteer to get involved. Feel free to use this post for plotting any related shenanigans amongst each other, too!
