I'm back! / a word on Amy Pond
Hello everyone! I'm back from my convention (as you may already know, seeing as Rory!mun has already posted about that) and just about caught up with the world again. Have I missed anything that Lucy and/or Amy would want to know about?
Also, episode 6 of the current series of Doctor Who happened. With that in mind, if you're curious...
...I hit up a mod (namely Fudgey) and we discussed the implications of that episode for Amy in Paradisa, since she's currently canon-bumped past the point the real Amy was likely switched with her Flesh copy. As far as I understand, the real Amy's consciousness was driving her Flesh copy and without that link would be... a soulless drone or something. Normally the castle severs all ties to the "real world", but keeping that in consideration, we decided to say that the castle created an artificial link to the real Amy in the "real world" to keep the Amy currently in Paradisa sustained. If that makes any sense. (THE SHOW SURE AS HELL ISN'T MAKING ANY RIGHT NOW.) And that means she can still experience the occasional weird stomach pain, and catch glimpses of Eye Patch Lady looking at her through weird openings in walls. Which I am looking forward to messing with. :)
I think that's the only issue this last episode presents me with, play-wise.
