HOW'S THE GAME?

It's been awhile! It's time for another round of Game Discussion, also known as "How's The Game?"

Here we come together to discuss the game, its plots, the settings, and just about anything we can think of that we'd like to talk about, expand upon, improve, change, etc.

This is not an HMD for players and their characters; this should be about the game's function as a whole and not the people in it. If there is something you feel is absolutely necessary to address that involves a specific person, please IM a mod first to discuss it. We can be reached at terraqueous orb (Kayla), end title (Fudgey) or a great fanfare (Jenn). (Though Jenn is on hiatus right now because her laptop is broken, so Kayla or Fudgey would be best for right now!)

I agree with this so much. I have things to say about all three points, but I'll just talk about #2

I will openly admit I'm very against rape ever being used as a plot, but that's simply because it's way too triggering for some muns who have had to deal with that stuff either themselves or through a friend. Not only that, but...it's almost never done right when written in RP. It's often used as a cheap plot gimmick when really torture or murder or something much less likely to trigger someone can be used just a effectively.

BESIDES THAT? If a person wants to write sex in game, as long as there are warnings for it I don't care. As for sixteen year olds having sex...well honestly that's the legal age in the majority of countries around the world and I kinda think it's...weird that non-american characters (many of who have never been to America) would want to wait for the american age of consent. That being said, I don't support ages younger than sixteen even if there are places where the law is as low as nine, and in cases that do have someone that fall under the age of eighteen should be taken as a case by case scenario.

Yeah also I'm adding that I'm not just saying this for my own benefit since...I would never write porn in Paradisa even if it was two people of legal age- JUST AS A GENERAL THING FOR OTHERS REALLY sdfsdfksdj
