Lessons from Cyprus... a return from hiatus.

-Tourist offices are hard to find, especially when they're obviously marked and on a street we've walked by.
-The world is Apollo's temple.
-Either Boston (and the Red Sox) are better than New York (and the Yankees) or vice versa. We never did settle that one. (GO SOX.)
-Jenny/Camera OTP.
-Shana/Dresden Files audiobook otp.
-Jenny is not someone you want to go through airport security with. She has a sketchy (and FULL) airport passport.
-Shana is not someone you want to do... anything in front of. She mocks. A lot. She likes her sarcasm and snark.
-Things that are awesome: Old shit, sea shells, the god Priapus (google it, kids), sexy goddess statues, nail clippers, food that isn't kosher, holes in the ground, Brits, GORGEOUS beaches with colourful water, coffee, cadbury hot chocolate, cadbury EGGS, Easter, fish and chips, the geometric period, maps, Shana's new SHIRT.
-Things that are not awesome: Lanarke mosquitoes and waterbugs, getting lost, walking in circles, money issues, smokers everywhere, watery milkshakes.
-You have to pay for food and hotels.
-A log with Spike and Brennan wandering around and trying to find their way would not be an interesting adventure, it would be boring.
-THAT DRESS IS PRETTY.
-Never trust the receptionist. They do not know the cheapest buses.
-Jenny is a fail Jew.
-Conversations can quickly change from My Little Ponies to sex. No, we're not sure either.
-Buses never, ever, ever come when you need them.
-If there is a hole in the ground or a building, we must go inside.
-Fish are people too. (No they're not, they must DIE.)
-Shana's favourite kind of fish is a dead fish.
-Jenny buys lots of books. SO MANY books.
-Did we mention the world is Apollo's temple?


IN ANY CASE, Shana and Jenny are BACK from their awesome vacation and will soon start posting and playing again, me right about now with Spike, and Jenny whenever she wakes up with Dr. Brennan. And yes, we had a wonderful time.
