So after the events of this post there may or may not be a giant gaping hole in the middle of the basement right now (sorry PP!). And by may or may not be, I mean there is.

Karkat wanted John to test out the limits of his powers here at Paradisa by trying to see how far down he could drill into Paradisa using the wind. No... I swear that's a legit thing. I promise I'm not bullshitting here.

Either way, as I'm sure anyone who's tried to dig under Paradisa can tell you, he didn't get far. Only about 20-30 feet down before he hit magical protected barrier. Whoops.

Still letting people know since, well, giant hole in the castle! And this was mod approved :)

EDIT: Because I'm dippy and didn't think about this at first. He's creating enough winds to dig into solid rock/concrete/whatever, so that definitely would have rattled the castle a little as well. Nothing broke (unless you want the shaking to have knocked something over? idk) but there would have been some definite shaking going on for a moment there.

God, I don't know. I honestly don't know a thing about the peace patrol set up, DO THEY HAVE THE ENTIRE BASEMENT? I mean I figured that there was this big area that covered the entire bottom of the castle, and he would have drilled through whatever section the PP didn't use. Or one of the sections... It's a big castle, he didn't turn all of it into a hole ;asdf what might collapse the building ;asdf

It's pretty sprawling and yeah takes up most of the basement. It has cells and a lab and a break room and armory and yeah.

Only areas without the security measures in it arrrrrrre the lobby area and... the... lobby area. Or I guess there's some... non-used... area that's just like rock or whatever but that's not really a basement, that's just under the castle.

Either of those places work. I don't know. I mean, he wouldn't have trouble drilling through rock so WHICHEVER. I don't think the specifics are that important, but it is good to know the peace patrol is natural disaster proofed.

It's a lot of things-proof. It'd make a good hideout during plots, but people tend to trust the Caritas/TARDIS more. :(

I guess because maybe it's in the castle, I don't know.
