Sup folks, TF here. I made a deal with myself that if my dad responded to the chemo and started to get better, I’d bring in an angry character I love to make me feel happier after all the stress I’ve been under. Welp, dad is fighting it like a tiger, we’re not out of the woods completely, but his prognosis is good. So have an angry character to brighten up your day.
This is Fenris, a warrior elf from the Dragon Age series. He’s also an amnesiac escaped slave, and those ‘tattoos’ of his are lyrium; burned into his skin by his former mage master in order to make him a living weapon. He uses them mostly to go semi-intangible, phasing his hand through his enemies’ chests to rip out their hearts. As you can guess, he’s a SUPER FUN guy. He gets on with almost no one and spend the majority of his time brooding (which he denies).
As a note to all characters who can sense and/or use magic, they will feel a massive dose of unlimited mojo coming from this guy. Because of his past, and this whole raw magic being burned into his skin business, Fenris has a deep unending hatred of magic and all who wield it. If you have a character that uses magic, and you want some negative CR for them, this is the guy for you!
He comes in from act 3 of Dragon Age II, towards the end of the ‘Alone’ quest; right after he kills his old master, Danarius. His loss is that he’ll feel the need to make social interactions with people within the castle. This is both to make him actually have CR at all, and to stop him from running off to try and live with the outsiders.
As for the characters I had to let go while I dealt with the stress of last month’s situation: Sister will probably return, though after the latest season of RVB this summer. Because if there’s a chance the nutter’s still around, it’s easier bringing her in later, than trying to retcon/canonbump her afterwards. Guido won’t be returning, because honestly he never gelled in the castle as much as I thought he would, and he was becoming a real struggle to play anyway, sorry to the few he had CR with :
