If you get an IM from me (a great fanfare) that is just a tinyurl link, don't click it. It's a phishing scam powered by that stupid game.

If you did and played the game it links to, you will begin doing this to people too if you don't change your password. If you change your password, everything should be fine, so I shouldn't be doing it anymore, but jussssst in caaaase.

The game it links to is a copy of the REAL Aim Fight thing that AOL does, but the real one doesn't ask for your password.

Ouch that is about twenty levels of not fun.

Thanks for the heads up!

Damn, I was wondering what that was. I didn't get the link from you but from another buddy. :( Ew.

Seconding TF! Thanks for letting us know. ♥

I was dumb and did it, but I changed my password shortly afterwards so hopefully it'll be okay? None of my virus protections picked up anything anyway.

But if anyone get any from me, this is just a heads up.

Yeah it looked just like an AOL thing and AIM usually prompts me for my password when I'm on their site, even if I'm logged into AIM so i didn't think much about it at all.

Crafty phishers these ones are.

I did it as well. I tried to change my password...but it was all funky and I'm not sure if it worked. It's...kind of hard to explain.

Either way... heads up for me, as well.

............uh-oh. I think I already got hit by this one.

I clicked it, but I didn't play it. I'll change my password anyway since it's on automatic anyway.

Ohh, okay so you know about that. :( I was going to mention it to you today, because Skye IMed me last night telling me she got that weird message from you and was trying to figure out why.

I clicked the link but closed the window a few seconds later after remembering this post, so I don't think I got phished, but just a head's up in case. :(
