Plot Basics / Opt-Out

CLOCK STRIKES EIGHT / CONFITUREBOURG
After the ball tonight, residents will be swept away to a very different castle, in a very different land. Think candy, swans with golden necklaces, dancing and perhaps a few crossed swords.

PLOT BASICS
Genre: Adventure/Fantasy/Holiday Special
Bring: Nothing.
Geared towards: Anyone.
Status effects: No powers, no superhuman abilities, no magic, no weapons. Alternate weapons will be provided.
Expect: Mice.

OPT-OUT FUNCTION
We know it's the holidays and not every can or wants to hang around RPing when there's family and celebrations and stuff, especially when the plot involves a world-change. Because of that, we've put an opt-out into the plot, so that people too busy to play at all (or just play all their characters) can put some on the back-burner.

Characters being opted out will be turned into toys –– porcelain dolls and toy soldiers. They are unbreakable and "sleeping." As toys, they won't have any memory of the plot happening, so that muns won't have to worry about catching up or knowing what, exactly, happened.

The characters turned into toys will still play an important role in the plot, even if their role is passive.

The plot starts at midnight tonight. Further instruction for everyone else will be posted later.

Take this option for a character if:
- You will not be around from the 21st to the 23rd
- You have a lot of characters and only want to focus on a few.
- You have a secret desire to see your character as a toy.

If you aren't sure yet whether you'd like to opt-out, feel free to wait until the plot starts/where it goes and make a retroactive decision.

For our reference, we are keeping this post to know who is being turned into a toy.
