ADDENDUM
So, as you might have read in this post, Sylvanas is going on a loss where she will live out all of Winter's Veil as, yes, her high elf self, the days when she was still alive.
Arthas and Riful have had their losses happen instantaneously, but with Sylvanas, I would like to do something a little different, if only to startle and mess withand biggle the minds of her CR, if only in a lighthearted way, nothing mean here!
Since Sylvanas is taking a couple of days to "wake up" from her blow to the face, I am going to try to pass this off as a "reverse canon bump", making it seem like she went back in time, rather than forward, and I will be "pulling her" from a particular moment in the past. WANNA PLAY ALONG, Y'ALL?
If we want to get technical, her "canon point" is a few weeks or so after the downfall of Doomhammer and the "savage" Horde. Alleria and her human pet are big damn heroes, Vereesa's still relatively young and inexperienced, and she's a noble ranger for the sake of the Alliance! Ew, orcs! Ew, trolls! Ew... undead? Whaaat.
Oh, yes. She's going there. Alive and well, she's going there.
This, however, will be a great opportunity for more casual characters and such who wouldn't have met Sylvanas through expeditions and fighting and just don't want to deal with all her anger and frustration to give her a poke or a friendly hello and... actually have it requited! Obviously, she is going to need time to deal with "this new world", but once she's settled, she'll be willing to explore and make a place for herself here! Expect sisterly bonding (?!), smiles (?!?!); she'll still be pretty serious and professional, but she'll have a higher chance to not be a big, angry wet blanket toward everything. And she'll actually kind of like ickle!Arthas, the promising young prince of Lordaeron, what.
Instead of her creepy voice, she'll not have the scary echoes and rasps, she'll sound nice and normal like a, b'aww.
What else... I think that's it? I may be forgetting something. I don't know.
Uh, Jr. and MOMO got her safely to Allen's house, I do believe, and she'll be sleeping there until she... wakes up, all new and shiny, like a brand-new penny. :)
WHEN I WAKE UP (given nothing is expected from me upon doing so), I WILL BE MAKING THE POST BECAUSE I FINALLY HAVE A DAY OFF AFTER THE WORST WORK WEEK EVER I JUST WANTED TO WRITE THIS. /DIES
tl;dr: sylvanas is waking up as her past self, nice and alive. she'll be acting as though she had just "arrived" and not remember her friends. she's less angry, but she won't accept the darker stuff she does as a ravenous banshee queen. yay! :D
