Hey girlfriends! This has been missing for a few weeks, because the person running this thing thought that real life was just too hard. I know, let's shed a tear, shall we? In actually, it wasn't that hard at all, she's just...Well, she's a stupid bitch. If you have no idea what wonderful things you've been missing out on, or you'd like to smack that fine young thing into getting your information up for next Thursdays update, just go here!
As well, if you drop a character, you no longer need participants for your event or the event has ended...Please remember to leave a comment in the appropriate thread, so it can be removed for next weeks post, or this sassy friend will find you!
What...What was going on this week? Let's take a look, shall we? Some little girl had a slap fight and then decided she was hungry...so you eat people?! EAT PEOPLE?! Nooo! What you do is find yourself a big studly man and talk him out of a hamburger, you stupid bitch.
Oh! This one is my favourite! Feeling drab and downright ugly? Well...Sadly, there are just some things mother nature can't do, but if you head down to Okami Salon on Tuesdays, where everything is half price off, you too could be on your way to a more beautiful and fabulous self! Yes, even you cheap bitches! They're also hiring for hair sweepers, so even stalkers can now receive gainful employment! Mm, peach shampoo!
Of course, the Wildkat is now hiring too. You can pour coffees for all those wonderful castle people, for 8 Caisos an hour! But if you're really creative, I suggest all you hot dark and brooding young men show up in your best outfits! Any great coffee shop needs someone to give deep and meaningful poetry readings in the dark...Strong jaw highlighted by candle light, voice drawn with pain over a bad romance...Oh, it just gives chills, doesn't it?
That's everything, see you fabulous people next week!
CRIME: RESIDENTS
Character Name: Tyki Mikk
Crime Committed: Murder, Torture
What Evidence people would notice: Organs having been removed without any sort of cut being made. Certain people will turn into weirdo vegetive state before developing blisters/boils and exploding. Witnesses to this will notice a horde of butterfly like creatures coming from the body and flying off sometimes into a dark alley in the town other times towards the castle itself.
Is this reoccurring? If so, how frequently: It doesn't happen weekly per say, as it really depends on his mood. But considering the way his victims die it should be easy to assume the same person did it. He only really farms Tease every three or so weeks, depending if he lost any or not.
Character Name: Amane Misa
Crime Committed: Murder, though police may not recognize it as murder
What Evidence people would notice: Accident victims. Some freak accidents, some plausible accidents. Trampled by a horse cart, accident in a butchery, etc. All of the victims have been convicted of heinous crimes (murder, rape, torture, etc) or have had strong cases made against them (on-going for long periods of time, confessed, lots of evidence, eye witnesses, etc). There is no physical evidence whatsoever. Eye-witnesses will say it almost looked like fate was out to get them...
Is this reoccurring? If so, how frequently: On-going. It varies month to month, a few bodies one month, a dozen another. If there are no big plots, expect more bodies.
Character Name: Allen Walker
Crime Committed: Card Sharking
What Evidence people would notice: Rich folk in town complaining being swindled of money in games of poker, usually the amount is well in the thousands. Most of the rich folk that are hit tends to be ones with histories of treating the poor or workers in the red light district very badly in various ways and many of those people are ones that Allen owes money towards. If one was to look through Allen's desk, they might even find a handwritten list of names and profiles of these guys. Meanwhile the poor or redlight district workers usually end up getting a great deal of cash from Allen that they can't quite explain where he got that kind of money, but who looks a gift horse in the mouth?
Is this reoccurring? If so, how frequently: The cardsharking occurs anywhere from once to three times a week. The locations vary, but most of them time they are bars or clubs that are notably for the rich.
Character Name: The Accountant
Crime Committed: Hired assassinations... mostly for NPCs that're hiring him by word of mouth out of his new town office, but any castle crooks who'd want to hire him would know where to find him, too, if they wanted to look.
What Evidence people would notice: It depends on the body, honestly. Most of the time, he tries to make them look like simple robberies - the bodies are looted of money or valuables, no matter what the reason for them being targeted was. If the things in question aren't actually needed by the client, he'll dump them in the garbage, or burn them, or otherwise dispose of them. He always wears gloves, so there are no prints, but he also tends to use the same sort of gun, a .45. The bullets won't always be the same, though, since he's switching guns out at the shooting range as he needs to clean them (thank you, loss).
Is this reoccurring? If so, how frequently: I'd say that bi-weekly is a fair amount. If he gets hired by one of the Jokers or someone else in the castle, obviously, this will get put on hold.
Character Name: Thief Bakura
Crime Committed: Burglary
What Evidence people would notice: No signs of forced entry (since he'll just be phasing through walls to get in). This isn't inclusive to shops and stores - people are having their homes broken into as well. Only two patterns to places that get burgled: jewelry stores tend to have a higher chance of getting hit, and if there is jewelry to steal (regardless of the place being a store or home) Bakura will likely take it. Other random shit gets taken too, from money to food to stuff Bakura would consider modern.
Is this reoccurring? If so, how frequently: About one night a week, maybe two if he finds some really good targets.
Character Name: Legato Bluesummers & Zelman Clock
Crime Committed: Murder with a side of human suffering.
What evidence people would notice: On what we're going to retroactively say was the 21st, there were reports of several very violent incidents. Witnesses tell us this:
• Two sisters. The quieter first, without any obvious prompt, grabbed a knife from the belt of the second, and slashed her own wrists and throat with it. She died shortly after, in the arms of the second. The surviving sister has been largely unresponsive since the incident.
• A family. The father suddenly grabbed the eldest daughter and tried to strangle her in front of his wife and two other children. The wife panicked and took a swing at his skull with a shovel. The husband is now dead, the children are being kept under close watch, and the wife is being detained.
• Two friends. The first inexplicably grabbed the fiance of the second and bashed her head into a brick wall until she died. The second retaliated and beat the first to death in what could only be described as a heartbroken rage. He is currently being detained.
• One man was found dead in his room, apparently having torn out his own heart. Police are skeptical, given the amount of strength it would take to accomplish such a feat, but there's no other evidence as to what could have happened.
• There is a small note of an unexplained incident where a woman's arm suddenly twisted back past the breaking point of it's own accord. She's being treated for the broken arm as necessary, and it hasn't been well looked-into.
Is this reoccurring? If so, how frequently: The first three happened at the exact same time in the town square of the City Royal, and the last two happened at earlier times during the day in completely separate parts of town. Other reports of sudden, unexplained, violent deaths like this may show up once or twice in the next few weeks, but they will be very separate and seemingly random.
Character Name: Faye Valentine
Crime Committed: Card Sharking, fixed Gambling, Pickpocketing
What Evidence people would notice: Townfolk complaining of losing more money than they should in a variety of card and dice games. There's really no pattern to the type of citizens that are targeted, though males--especially while drinking--seem to get taken for the most. The locations vary, bars and seedier areas of the city being the most common. The amounts of money lost also varies, depending on the class of citizen being swindled, though the victim more often than not ends up losing everything that they're carrying at the time.
Is this reoccurring? If so, how frequently: At least once a week, depending on her mood.
Character Name: Riful of the West
Crime Committed: Murder
What Evidence people would notice: Dead bodies in various alleyways in the city. They've been ripped in half, innards eaten. The wounds inflicted are 100% identical to the ones Joan's body suffered.
Is this reoccurring? If so, how frequently: This happened once, the night of the battle after Riful left! She told you all she was hungry B) Those that witnessed the carnage & fled said they saw that a young brunette girl was responsible.
