Come and Knock on Our Door...

So you wake up with your roommate. You know, it's pretty weird to have a roommate and all without having arranged it yourself, but you're pretty sure you can make it through a week if you're just sharing sleeping space with the stranger.

Until, of course, you see the stationary on the kitchen table, addressed to you and your roommate...



The note only details what the task is for the day. The consequence will only be discovered if you fail to complete your "task" for the day. Almost all of the tasks have a deadline of noon, unless specified elsewhere. So here's what you're doing every day:

Saturday the 10th
Decorate Your Door

What the note says:

You don't know this person very well. Please decorate your door to the best of your creative abilities. You have until noon, or else.

What the consequence is: You can't seem to sit down. If you try, you fall over. Yes, this is connected to not decorating the door. As soon as you and your roommate decorate the door, you can sit down again.

Sunday the 11th
Project Runway: Paradisa

What the note says:

Hey there fashionistas. Please co-ordinate an outfit for your roommate for the day. Make it work! Or else.

What the consequence is: You can't wear anything more than underwear, if you don't wear what your roommate picked for you.

Monday the 12th
Turkey Day

What the note says:

Happy Thanksgiving! Please make something for the potluck on your floor, and decide who is hosting the dinner, and what time it will be held. Or else.

What the consequence is: You can't eat dinner unless you contribute to the potluck :(

Tuesday the 13th
Get It In Order

What the note says:

Please clean your roommate's room. Thoroughly. Very thoroughly. Or else.

What the consequence is: The castle makes messes appear in your place. Literally, it just looks like, periodically, another bucket of garbage, clothes, dirty dishes, dust and misc. other stuff just gets dumped in. There are roaches.

Wednesday the 14th
20Q

What the note says:

Ask your roommate twenty questions and get twenty answers. Or else.

What the consequence is: Well, you're stuck singing everything you say. I hope you're happy.

Thursday the 15th
Work Together With Your Floor To Make A Soda Can Tower

What the note says:

Here are a lot of crates of soda pop cans. Along with your floormates, please drink all 300 of them and construct a tower. You have until 5PM to complete your task. Or else.

What the consequence is: You know that horrible feeling when you get soda fizz up your nose? Yeah, it won't go away.

(We're sorry, upper floors. We are so sorry.)

Friday the 16th
Talent Show

What the note says:

There's a stage set up in the ballroom. At 9:30 pm, please attend the talent show. Please have your own act ready. Or else.

What the consequence is: Feelings of inadequacy and worthlessness. Dude, you can't even get up and juggle or something?

Saturday the 17th
Let's Make A Goddamn Magazine!

What the note says:

To keep a record of your time, please each write a paragraph on what you learned about friendship and camaraderie this week. Compile it into a newsletter for your floor. Or else.

What the consequence is: When you wake up, you'll find yourself wearing a ball-chain like a prisoner. It's heavy as shit, and its weight is relevant to how strong you are, so no matter who you are, you're weighed down... until you do the stupid paragraph. Seriously, if you take a month to do it, you're going to have the ball the entire month, and so on.

Additional mumbo jumbo:

There are no ghosts. They're all on vaycay.

Your pets either moved with you, or are on vacay with the ghosts being pampered.

Kitchen is gone. Instead, you've got kitchens in your own rooms.

Rooms are something like this: two bedroom or one bedroom. Sharing a room, exciting!

If you aren't participating/opting out (aka your character has no roomie) there are no notes or consequences. You can't exactly do this stuff alone :') They still can participate in Thanksgiving dinners and the talent show and whatnot, though. It's a free world.

If you have not found your character a roomie yet, please go back to THE PREVIOUS POST and comment around. Don't just wait for someone to go to you! If you see someone with your floor number, make an offer!

Room and bed choices are up to the players involved. There can be rooms with two twin beds, one king size bed and a futon, a rollaway and a trundle bed, bunk beds with a sleeping bag. Really any sort of bed/room/combo you can think of can work.

The castle will give everyone someplace to sleep.

Late question is late but pertaining to the Project Runway day. I was wondering do the characters have to make the outfit that they'll be attempting to get their roomie to wear, or can they just buy clothes/an outfit/mix and match stuff from their own wardrobe for them?
