Day 4:

If you think yesterday was creepy and foreboding? It seems the castle's made it's goal to make today a record!

Should you venture out of your (increasingly decayed-looking rooms and into the halls) you'll find at least half of the lights have burnt out and the only available illumination is candles (not so generously provided I'm afraid. You may have to fight for them). Flashlights don't work, and it seems the castle's decided that it's going to be deaf to your wishes, or give you the absolute worst choice of whatever you ask. Want a candle? Well, you'll get wax of some sort...

I wouldn't suggest going near those skeletons or electrically-charged creatures anymore. Those creatures seem mighty twitchy for something being fake, and what? Hold on, I think they're making noises...

Careful in the Front Hall too, guys! Those coffins you kept seeing? Well, it seems they contained some rather nasty buggers. I think they're called vampires if my folklore's right. Luckily for you, they're still asleep, right? It just seems like someone's decided to move the (mostly rotting now) buffet table off to the ground on the side, held up by the coffin lids. Try not to get too close, kids! They might be sleeping, but who says they're not going to wake up before their time...

Do you remember those harmless trap-doors in the floors a day or so back? Well, watch your steps guys! They're back and they're not so harmless anymore! Some drop you down into pits, others have enough spikes in them to put a porcupine to shame and even more drop you down into a pitch black room, and you'd better pray that hand you're holding is a friend who fell down with you.

Outside is a definite no-no if you've got your head still attached. That graveyard's looking way too dangerous to go through, all foggy with dark forms that can occasionally be seen through it, the howling and the strange, ghastly sounds emerging from it.

That spider's not looking too friendly either. You may notice that it's not quite in the same position it was a half hour ago. It's a little more to the left. And that web? Seems a bit to ready to be used if you ask me.

You'd better be careful if you got stuck in that maze. More decorations aren't where they were before and you might be seeing some shapes in the corner of your eyes when you're not quite expecting it.

TL;DR
→ Your rooms look like crap and the halls (including the Front Hall) don't look any better.
→ The castle's lighting quality has gone down the tube. A third aren't working and another fourth are on their last leg.
→ Flashlights don't work anymore.
→ Castle doesn't care about your wishes, and if it does bother, you'll get the absolute worst option of what you wanted.
→ Turns out those coffins under the table house vampires. They're sleeping right now, but who knows if they'll wake up?
→ The creatures/skeletons in the halls are looking a bit more lively today. Might even be watching you if you catch 'em at the right moment.
→ The trap-doors from a couple days ago aren't so innocent. Think porcupine and black hole rooms.
→ Outside is a bad idea, that spider's never where you thought it was last and the graveyard's looking a bit too real and creepy for anyone's taste.
→ If you're stuck in the maze? Well, you'd better hope you're not alone. More of those stupid decorations aren't where they're supposed to be anymore.
