In jumping on the NYC bandwagon, I have two things to say. First, what the nitpick in me considers more important is that I've spent 23 years of my life growing up in New York City and am more than willing to answer any questions anyone may have.

Second: Jenny and Chloe will be high school students. Jenny I'm placing at Bronx Science and Chloe at Baruch High School. Sarah Jane will be a reporter at The New York Times.

not_from_mars, would it be okay if Jenny and Ten were still living together, seeing as, y'know, minors don't typically live alone?

*oops - falling downstairs now - and there's a lovely egg on her forehead to show for it*

*Oh. Oh shit. And now there's a Jenny right beside her, hugging her close.*

I'm sorry, Astrid. Really sorry.

M'sorry too Jenny. *sob sniff*

I want Mister Sol! *sob sob* Ow, my head hurts. *sniff*

*Huuuuuug*

Don't move, okay? I'll go get Mister Sol and be right back.

'Kay. *solemn nod and a small smile, fighting back the tears*

*one more quick hug and Jenny's off running down the rest of the stairs. She returns a few minutes later carrying the toy bear who (thankfully) sustained no injuries*

And all's well that ends well. Until Dad sees that egg later and asks questions.

And that's where lying to Dad always comes in handy!
