+1 con hiatus

So, I am off to Sakuracon this weekend. Plus some, because a friend is flying out for the con and then coming to stay for a few days afterwards, so I'm out from today (Thursday) through next Wednesday (April 3rd). I'll have internet, though it's going to be 2G phoneternet, so I'm contactable if need be, and I may get to some tags when I get home, but no promises. My three are all doing their usual quiet things, and I want to apologize for dropping the ball on plots I signed up on with Shatterstar for - work decided to pick up the hours right as I hit pre-con crunch time @.@

I'm starting this out with energy and o//, because I'm bringing in a character whose default facial expressions are the following: :| :/ :V

Hi! I'm ar (you might know me from distant_skies, luceti, or polychromatic a million years ago), and I'm bringing you Icheb from Star Trek: Voyager. Icheb is an ~alien~ who was made doubly alien when he was kidnapped by the Borg at a young age. After spending enough time in a Borg maturation chamber to make the concept of individuality foreign to him, he was rescued by USS Voyager and brought aboard ship!

If you're unfamiliar with him, think...sort of like Mr. Spock, except he's not repressing his feelings on purpose. He's just a little divorced from them. And he's a lot more monotone much of the time. You can read a little more about him here, if you're so inclined. Icheb is arriving immediately post-episode 07x02, in which he underwent the Borg equivalent of kidney donation. He's also coming sans memories of Seven of Nine, poor baby.

Space Olympics Wrap-Up

Yo Space Olympians! It's the fourth and final day of the Space Olympics plot, which means two things:
1) No more image spam :')
2) ALIENS, YOU'RE UP! :D

The first two sections are wide open. The third section, in which any survivors get to watch a sweet explosion, will go up a little later today, once some action has had time to go down.
