Now that you guys have become somewhat acquainted with the fairies, it's time for the fun stuff.
THING ONE: Leaves have started to fall off the trees, which means now it's really starting to look like autumn around here. There are still plenty clinging to the branches, but enough are dropping off that the fairies are constantly clearing those things out of their fairy rings.
THING TWO: Speaking of which, the fairies will continue to build their tiny castle outside on the lawn. It's almost five feet tall, today! They might finish soon, which is why they're much less busy today and interacting with characters.
IF YOU'VE BEEN NICE TO THE FAIRIES: If you've helped out or been generally amicable towards them, they're going to return the favor! They might bring you little gifts, like candies, flowers, ribbons, pretty stones... or they might to help you with your chores, or help you put your hair up all nice, or just flitter around you all cheery-like, trying to say thank-you. Characters who were especially nice and helpful may feel like they're just having a great day. Like they got a really good night's sleep. Like everything's going right, you know? They may also have especially good strokes of luck. Finding $50 in your pocket, intact, after the washer and dryer? Crazy awesome!
IF YOU'VE BEEN A JERK TO THE FAIRIES: If you've tried to eat them, trapped them in jars, conducted horrible experiments to them, made their castle construction harder, or have generally been kind of rude to the fairies, they're here for payback. Characters may have to deal with things being stolen, tripping over nothing, getting their hair pulled, not being able to find any of their left socks, water being dumped on them, suffering horrible migraines, being mysteriously hungry the whole day, or any other strokes of bad luck. If you were especially cruel to them, they may just forgo subtlety, swarm you, and push you down the stairs. Jerk.
Severity and exact results of either option is totally up to the players. As always, if you have comments, leave them here or prod me somehow. :3
