So for the next week (maybe two), I'm going to be swamped with studying, research projects, and presentations. As well as Christmas preparations and anything else life might hit me with.

So I'm joining the slowaitus train. Don’t worry; I’ll still be here when I can and will backlog until forever.

Popping in to say I'm off that hiatus I never got around to announcing, as many would have noticed by now. Hi, new people! I go by ikka and I play two messed-up ambuscades entailing.

That said, apparently LJ's broken somewhere again and my payment for Shizuru's account is stuck in processing, so she'll still be on autopilot until it goes through because the remaining icons are...ridiculous. Hopefully their "we are working on fixing this as quickly as possible" doesn't translate into more breaking, but I wanted to let those I have plans with her know just in case. Yup, this is settled.

Okay, so we all know Vriska is, to say the least, kind of a jerk! She dances on the edges of sociopath inclinations and doesn't give any fucks about who she upsets and never apologizes for anything she does. She's just great like that!

Now that the holiday season is on the way, perhaps we should change that attitude a little.

Instead of anger, instead of lashing out, instead of smart remarks and hurtful words, why don't we start replacing that with something a little more nice? Yes, I think this is time for a "nice loss". That's right!

Any time Vriska's going to call anyone a name or insult them, you can be sure as all hell, that's going to turn into something nice about them. About to make fun of someone? Yeah, that scorn is going to turn into compliments.

Vriska certainly will learn a lesson, I am sure! Well, maybe. Okay, no, she'll hate it.

IT WILL SURE MAKE ALL THESE KISSES ALL THE MORE AWKWARD and murderless.

Yeah!!!!!!!!

NOW THAT THE LOSS IS OUT OF THE WAY, I HAVE TO SAY SOMETHING ABOUT MY RECENT ACTIVITY-- or lack thereof.

Hello all,

Here's some slightly nervous fresh meat for you. I'm Rylie and I'm bringing in Tim Drake Wayne from DC Comics. He used to be Batman's sidekick/partner Robin for a few years (the third one) before he set out on his own as Red Robin. He's also been in Young Justice and the Teen Titans, being their leader at times. He's a detective, a computer guru, and is a bad ass normal. He's also another one of Bruce Wayne's many adopted kids. Uuuh, I don't know what else to say, derp.

It’s time for SPEED DATING!!

It’s a simple concept with a lot of over-explaining from me. However, to keep it simple (in theory) here’s the gist of it. Then below the cut is going to be even MORE explaining.

1] People sign each other up or sign themselves up. Dater cards that are both amusing and informational are filled out by whoever does the signing up.
2] Speed-Dates happen! They are grouped into who is looking for who. F/F, M/M, F/M.
3] Pairings get picked! Pre-planned in this post or spur of the moment on the day of are both fine! You don’t even need to pair off if you don’t want to.
4] Real-Dates happen! Lots of CR will be found and blackmail stories are figured out.

Okay! I am sorry that took me so long to post up and that it’s so long, but I didn’t want to break this down into several OOC posts.

Also, in one second I’m going to put up a comment for you to let me know if your character will be looking for F/F M/M or F/M. Now, if you want your character accidentally placed in the wrong group, let me know here too. This is going to be me getting an idea of how many will participate and how I should plan for that. If not a lot of people sign up - then I’ll just have to do one group for seated and one group for moving and hope for the best.

This is the FIRST time I’m doing it this way, so please, please if you have comments or concerns or questions - tell me. I’d like to make sure to iron out all the details before the post goes up.
