So Nanako's birthday was yesterday (the 4th), but since everyone was still locked out of the castle, it was a bit difficult to organize anything. Tomoe is not...really one for parties, but since Nanako expressed interest over one, she's actually going to try to throw one. It's going to be last minute, again because of the castle eviction and everything!

Shortly after settling back into the castle this morning, Tomoe will be going through each floor and leaving an invitation tied to the doorknob of anyone she knows to be associated with Nanako. This means anyone she saw at the beach party, or anyone she's recognized talking to her via the journals, etc. Obviously this includes her dad and Adachi (how was she to know?!), so...yeah. Since word travels fast, you can just assume your character found out about the party somehow if they know Nanako and you don't think Tomoe would be aware of them.

Since Tomoe's going to be leaving at the end of the week, this will probably be her last hurrah, so I'll actually put together in the logs comm later today! It may not be a traditional party, but hopefully it won't suck toooo badly. Keep your eyes peeled!

So the castle is now re-opened for business -- the front doors will open and characters will be able to get inside just fine now. Characters might be surprised to find that their room might not be where they thought it was, though ... check the Floor Map for any changes!

They may also notice that the first floor is looking a little different now! Here's a basic layout of the new first floor!

We've also got a gigantic, new labeled map of the surrounding area. (Sendspace zip, Mediafire zip, Large version, smaller version for slow connections. Thanks, Ashley, for the second two ♥) Watch out for that new moat, guys -- just because it's covered in leaves doesn't mean you can't fall in! ;)

A more detailed map of the city, the buildings in it, etc. will be coming soon!

So, you might have noticed that I kind of failed at tags for a week there.

And for that, I'm very sorry! Life was hitting me hard there for several days, and even after all was said and done, my brain kind of failed forever at making tags and I kind of didn't do any.

But, not to worry, I am going to backtag everything like mad! And this means that my characters, Nikola Tesla, Newton Pulsifer, and the Man in Black are back and raring to go.

And for that, I'm very sorry! Life was hitting me hard there for several days, and even after all was said and done, my brain kind of failed forever at making tags and I kind of didn't do any.

So I kind of forgot to mention going on hiatus. Not that it matters now, since I'm back! Anyway, hi. During said hiatus, I'm going to say Sollux was on a loss and... turned into a bee. He'll continue to be a bee, and I'm going to make a post about said loss soon. But in the mean time, I should ask if there's anything relevant to him that I've missed?

So, I'm currently dealing with the DNSChanger -VJ and Malware-gen trojans that somehow found their way onto my laptop, so I'm calling a HIATUS for the next few weeks. I apologize to those I had plans with, especially with regards to my loss/mini-plot idea for Jono's year anniversary, but alas, I have no idea how long it's going to take me to get rid of the offending trojans.

For the sake of plotting and whathaveyou, let's just say that Jono is showing Stocking the ropes at Caritas, and Charles is in the library, doing research on all the stuff he thinks will be useful for building Cerebro.

Anyway, I'll talk to you guys once I'm all trojan-free and stuff <3

i need to put up a retroactive hiatus? did i use that right.... my health suddenly took a nosedive and i'm on the verge of going back to the hospital! which might be the second time this week.
