Yeah, I've been made of ultimate craptastic fail for the past month or two. :/ I guess it's winter doldrums or something, but I just haven't been in the RPing mood, feel like I'm stuck in a fail-rut with Rory, and haven't even really been paying attention to either the OOC or main comms. It's Emmy ♥ You might remember me... MIGHT. You also might remember Yotsuba and Ted Kord, from not too long ago! I kinda disappeared forever because of school, but I am back! ... AND I MISSED YOU GUYS SO MUCH WKHJRKJHKJJKDSHKJSHJKDHJKSD UGH I CAN'T DESCRIBE.........

So school has definitely let up a little bit, so now I come home at midnight instead of 2 am every night!!! My hardest classes are at the beginning of the week, so I have some more extra time near the end of the week and the weekend! THEREFORE... RP... it must happen :)

JDHSKJSd to get back into the RP groove, I decided to pick up a... Disney princess... because I have found my true calling, or something. So, ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the sweet Rapunzel from Tangled into your loving arms. She's been locked up in a goddamn tower for eighteen years and is READY TO LIVE LIFEEEEEE. She is kind of excited about everything, but will be TERRIFIED once arriving, because she's just left her tower for the first time and instead of being in the forest, has found herself at the castle instead!

Her loss! This girl, see... She has 70 feet of long, magical hair. It's important to maintain it properly or it gets all gross and haggard, but she's lost the ability to brush it. Shit sucks, man. So someone's gotta be her brush-bitch. >:D

 I've been putting this off because I really don't want to do this, but it really is necessary at this point. School is really tough right now and I'm going to have to be a ~responsible adult~ and cut back on happy fun times.

Which means dropping out of Paradisa. Unfortunately, I just don't have the time to commit to it on a regular basis. So pai_sho_master is going home to his teashop, tough_teacher is going home to help her idiot students and die and forgedinbattle is going home to do more crazy-awesome shit. I want to apologize to all my excellent castmates and CR and thank you all for being totally awesome.

For anybody who wants to keep in touch with me, you can  friend my LJ, elf_wannabe88  or shoot me an e-mail. And I seriously hope you do. This was actually my first RP experience and you all have made it absolutely amazing.

I'm hoping that around June I will be able to come back and re-join the fun. Until then:

hello, Paradisa! my name is Aki and I am new to this game, bringing you Izaya Orihara from Durarara!!

for those not familiar with his canon-- Izaya is an information broker in Ikebukuro who really, really loves humans. in fact, he loves them so much that he wants to understand their inner workings and thus, takes them apart. and by takes them apart I mean destroys lives. (IZAYA ORIHARA IS A LIFE RUINER. HE RUINS LIVES.) that being said, his biggest motivations are a.) keeping himself entertained, and b.) causing conflict with the goal of awakening a severed Dullahan head that will guarantee him entrance to Valhalla ()-- though the second will be mostly irrelevant here without a Celty.

I think I've officially been on hiatus for more of February than I've been off of it, what with school and vacation. But as soon as I got back from the beach, school snuck up behind me and kicked me in the ass all over again, and I'm gonna have to take another hiatus. I won't be gone long, just through this weekend as I attempt to finish my massive film assignment, and I will try to keep up with tags maybe once a day. 

February just has a track record of always sucking for me. I'll be around a lot more during March, this I know for sure.

Hey Folks!

As some of you might already know, the Animal Shelter passed its one year anniversary not to long ago and, since then, Sakaki has been planning a celebration to honor it. So, for your RPing pleasure, we bring you:

THE ANIMAL TALENT SHOW

When: Sunday, Feb. 27
Where: The theatre (it's actually getting use!)

Now, in order to make this work, we're going to need some volunteers so we can get everything organized and give the shelter a big hurrah.

Pet Owners/Performers:

Do you own a cool pet? Or are you an animal resident with some pretty awesome moves? Then we're looking for you! All you'll have to do is reply to this post with what kind of animal you're submitting and the trick or talent they'll be showing off. And don't worry, it doesn't have to be something totally awesome... it doesn't even really have to make sense. This is Paradisa. We're not expecting this to go normally.

Judges:

Basically? Here's we're just looking for people to comment on each of the performers in the actual talent show thread (praise them. Mock them. Stare at them dumbly, etc). You'll just need email or AIM so you can get Red your vote for which pet is tops once the show is done. We will take as many of these as want to sign up. The more the merrier.

Animals up for Adoption:

Last, but definitely not least, we need to know if anyone has new animals they want the shelter to put up for adoption. This could be wild animals, pets left behind by owners who've gone home, etc. We will be listing the animals available in the Talent Show Post for residents who are looking to give some sad, fuzzy (or scaly) animal a home.
