HALLOWEEN SCHEDULE

October 23rd:
Castle decorated for Halloween. What is it, you ask? Candy corn land. Every surface, including all those in residential rooms, is painted yellow, orange and white. Faucets dispense only candy corn, some might interrupt your shower to leak from your showerhead. Cupboards, shelves, drawers, the stuffing of your pillows, the padding in push-up bras, all your pockets... all candy corn.

Also, the ghosts make stereotypical OOOOOO~~ moans, and sometimes that noise that those motion-activated decorations did in the 90s. You know, the eeeeeeeeOOOOOOOOOOOOeeeeeeeeeOOOOOOOO noise and the crazy jerking around/flailing. This is the only thing that cannot be found on YouTube but I hope you know what we're talking about. If not, make something up, they're ghosts, they can sing Christmas carols for all we care. (Actually, you can do that. That might be funny.)

For those that don't know, candy corn is (in theory) corn that tastes like candy, but it really tastes terrible. In Jenn's opinion. Fudgey's crazy and likes them. It's really really sweet but your mileage may vary.

October 28th:
Player-run plot. Requires eight [normal?] participants, although the participants' CR will be involved in the fallout.
In-game length: Three and a half hours.
OOC length: Time to complete event, plus fallout.
More information to come.

October 31st:
Lighthearted fun night. Opt-in.
Some people who eat candy will experience "sugar-high" type effects. Hyperactivity, excitability, giggle fits, and general good cheer.

November 1st - 3rd:
Official event. Castle wide.

t-this is the hardest thing i've ever had to do

I've had so much fun playing here at Para... but I think I need a break from Cain so I can relearn how to play him again. My real life has also gotten so hectic the days I used to have free are usually dibsed by friends, or homework, or some crazy adventure that could only be thought up by bored students.

I really want to thank anyone who played with Cain while he was here. I really enjoyed exploring the character here and I loved every interaction. My apologies go out to my castmates and anyone I have threads with right now - I'll be happy to finish them if you want!

I'll always be around on ShikyouDaemon and my personal journal is prinnytern, so feel free to drop me a line sometime!

Daily here, introducing Cessily Kincaid aka Mercury. Yay Marvel Mutants. For anyone who isn't familiar with her -- think T-1000 but cuter. No, really. She can probably do anything it can aside from actually making herself look more human. She's Julian's girl bff and Hellions teammate, clearly Para needs more Hellions.

Cess is coming in from New X-Men; Children of X-Men, where she has a cute hat. But because there just isn't enough suck in her life, being a Marvel character, her loss is a particularly tough one for her. She is losing all of the fond memories she shared with her parents before her mutation surfaced and they kind of disowned her. So yeah, she's gonna cry once she picks up on that. I'll intro her at some point today.

OVERDUE SLOWAITUS ANNOUNCEMENT

 Hey there!

So, as many of you might have noticed, Ashura and Bishamon have been reeeeeeeally quiet as of late. Alas, that is my fault. Or rather, school's fault. Between midterms, papers, projects, and this damned website we are having to build, I just do not have as much time as I would like for the comm at the moment. I will try and poke my head in now and then as much as I can, so that means I am declaring a MEGA-Slowaitus/Hiatus for the foreseeable future. If you have any ideas or want to log something, I am always up for it and give me a shout, and hopefully in the next few weeks I can be more active. But as I said right now I need to focus on getting this illustration done, the paper, and the comps for the website done. Oh, and internship hunting. Tons of fun, I know.

I love you all, and hopefully school releases its strangle hold some as November rolls in.

Just putting up a note that I'm going to be takin' a hiatus. I expect to be back on the 1st, but I'll definitely be around for some of the plot shenanigans.

But RL has kind of been burning me out for RP, so that's why... you've probably noticed dropped tags and a lack of activity all over the place. I hope that this helps, but I might end up dropping some characters once hiatus is over if I think I can't keep up with it.

why do i keep apping from the comic universe i know nothing about. STAY ON THE MARVEL SIDE BAKHU you guys say.

anyways, i bring in Atlee aka Terra from DCU, primarily, the Power Girl series. she's an underground alien from Strata that was altered to look like a human so she could be the hero/ambassador of Earth. she has rock-based powers and... knows nothing about humans. ): at all. BUT SHE'S WILLING TO LEARN OMG YOU GUYS TEACH HER HOW TO BE HUMAN.

her loss is the memory of her first villain she fought with PG (who she's the sidekick/partner to) and her canon point is PG #12.

on the downside, i'm letting Alfred Pennyworth return home to assist the Batfam with their batty escapades. the muse has been dead for me for a while and i felt bad... character squatting. i know i'm disappointing a lot of people doing this (especially you, Lina) but i definitely plan to bring him back when i can canon review. i promise. ♥
