Been packing up and getting ready for a family trip for the past few days, but we officially leave tomorrow. So I'm calling a hiatus until Sunday/Mondayish. It's possible I might have internet where I'm going, but I somehow doubt I'll be that lucky.

Anyway, the hiatus only affects Irvine here. So until then, I'll see you guys around!

Hi guys! Some loser here just stopping by to let you know she's rping some other loser right now.

Who is that loser, you ask?

Well, my friends who I enjoy putting words into the mouths of, this little fellow here is named John Egbert. Yes, that's right, good old John from MS Paint Adventures: Homestuck.

You may now be wondering what the hell that is... or you might not care at all. Really, I'm not a mind reader despite my paltry attempts at guessing the masses line of questioning.

WELL FOLKS whether you want to know or not, I'm going to tell you. So sit back and relax, or, you know, just skip this entry completely. Whichever works best for you.

John is a thirteen year old boy. A fairly normal thirteen year old boy by all accounts except for ooooone tiny little detail. John and his three best friends sort of got themselves wrapped up in some silly little end of the world nonsense. Whoopsee! So yeah, the Earth is pretty much completely doomed, and John and his friends are running around seeing what they can do to, you know, not die themselves, find their missing family members, etc... etc... Fun stuff, really.

And for anyone that has read the series? John may or may not be from right after some cloning mishaps, but right before some crazy dreamself shenanigans. May or may not.

And his loss may or may not be the ability to turn down any baked goods people offer him. Which to anyone that doesn't know the series probably seems like a weird loss. But you guys need to understand John hates baked goods.

So yeah, there's that... I ramble, yo.

How It––– WAIT A SEC!
A h h h h h h s t o p s t o p s t o o o o o o p !

We've heard complaints about the system we've gone with being too first-come-first-serve (hence the late post) and that this plot was too exclusive from the start. We completely understand concerns about exclusivity, and promise that was not the intent; it was written with the idea in mind that the explorers would be introducing a magic room full of magic items to the rest of the castle.

As for the system for claiming items, we've had suggestions on other systems, but as these concerns were brought to us very late in the game, we think it would be messy to try and change things on such short notice. We're going to stay with the claims idea this time, though we are absolutely taking this as a learning experience and taking this to heart in the future. We do want to address concerns and try to make things fair, whenever possible.

As a compromise, we're easing up the "set in stone" nature of the items; we'll allow that the items can be traded, lost, stolen, etc.

And, that said, we can also promise that there are always more World Plot-related stuff in the future. :) With or without rollercoasters.

We’re using the honour system here, too. We won’t tell you how long you have to wait until your character figures it out, but approach it rationally: how often would a character, say, place their random item under a banana, only to discover it allows one to levitate? Dumb luck can kick in, certainly, but if it’s a crazy power, have your character hang onto it for a while –– maybe it’ll be something to do on a rainy day, somewhere down the line.

As on Monday morning, it can only be time for one thing... that's right, Tamaki's First Loss! Prepare for some corner of woe and some bawling, as well as a lot of crashing and banging.

Tama is going on the BANANA LOSS!

For those who don't know, a lot of times in Ouran when something dramatic might happen, the characters slip on banana skins (WHICH ARE NEVER THERE FOR A GOOD REASON). This will happen to Tamaki for the next week, starting Monday, he will randomly slip on banana skins wherever he goes for the mayhem and win :3

For anyone who just wants a bit more clarification, or who just wants to see Ouran people slip on bananas a lot, there is this handy dandy AMV for you.

OKAY! So ... I was going to hold onto this for a little longer, but ... some RL stuff has been happening lately that I really need a nice, fluffy distraction from, so .. here you go!

I give you ... the Epic Human!7 Loss of Doom! (August 13-September 8)

Basically, she'll be human for an entire month, each week going through a typical human-type loss.

Week One (August 13-19)
Hideous Dresses Week. She'll wake up each day, in the lobby, in a different, horrendous dress. The castle's locked her out of her room, and no matter what she does, she won't be able to change clothes. At all. Stuck in whatever embarrassingly bright, frilly thing it's decided to shove her in.

Week Two (August 20-26)
Gender Swap Week. Meet boy 7. Very happy to be out of dresses and back in pants, but ... his door's still locked. Probably will be spending a lot of time in the gym venting.

Week Three (August 27-September 1)
Kid Week. 7's back to being a woman, specifically an 7 year old girl. Expect lots of running around, climbing trees, scraped knees and the like.

Week Four (September 2-8)
Just a normal week. Nothing odd about this last week, except that she'll think that she's always been human since she arrived in Paradisa. She'll remember being a stitchpunk in her own world, but here she'll have a routine that she feels she's always done, including eating and sleeping, and won't actually complain about being 'stuck this way'.


I'm pretty excited about this Loss, it's been waffling around my head for several months now :3 Everything will be open like woah! :D
