In order to compile useful information, I'm going to make this post a little Q&A guide addressing some of the most common questions you've had and try to tl;dr about the most important parts - namely, about the functions of demons and magic, as well as how technology fits in to the setting. There will also be some info about the world in general to help explain what it will be like come Thursday, and then when the big event goes down on Saturday. SOME LINKS ARE NSFW for boobage.

So, you crazy forest dwellers? You may have a bit of a surprise.

Out of anger, Jin has frozen a portion of the forest via Arctic Dungeon. It'll likely last at least a few hours before shattering. Watch your step on that ice, should you come across it.

PS: Hiatus is wavering between full and semi now. Tags for Gino and Jin will be returned slowly.

Back, but...

My hiatus doesn't officially finish up until next Monday, but I won't be needing it. As hard as it is for me to do this, I think the right thing to do is to drop Shinobu from the game. It's been a long time coming, but I kept stringing my stint here along hoping something would spark. I've been struggling with her for months to the point of character squatting, and I've been having an increasingly harder time keeping up with Paradisa. I deeply apologize to anyone I've ever had or planned CR with but kept falling through because of my crap activity, to those I have current CR with, and to the amazing No More Heroes castmates I've had throughout my time here. This isn't anyone's but my fault for dropping the ball and falling behind, no hard feelings whatsoever.

It's been an awesome year and a half, but even good things come to their end. Thank you, everyone, for making Paradisa so memorable. This is my longest stay in a panfandom game by far. By any off chance you want to keep in touch, my personal LJ is mistressofrobin and my Plurk is tehashface.
