Hiatus note!

I am going to have some alien babies removed, so I will be either full or semi-hiatusing for maybe a week. Ruru and Jesse are the fathers.

Ada, Asuka, Cissnei, Claire, Jennifer, Nia, Shelke, Spike, and Teresa will be either be hiding, fighting, or trying to eat dinosaurs. If you want to assume they're with your character/saw them/etc, feel free to >> And I'll be around to post today and get Jennifer nearly eaten by dinosaurs. ♥

• Dinosaur attacky stuff.
• Rain ends at noon.
• Abilities come back at noon E.S.T.

Ideas for things to do:

• Hang around the visitor center.
• Anyone on the Park Drive needs to hike back to the visitor center.
• Injuries will need to be treated.
• People will need to be saved from attacks.
• Plan a stronghold (I can't emphasize this enough; it's up to the characters)

Major Events:

• Power to the raptors gets shut down at 6 PM E.S.T. Velociraptors get loose.
• A small team’s going to have to go out and fix the power so communication can go up again to call the boat.
• Boat is called to pick them up.

Major Plot Posts:

• Visitor's Center (Hike Back + Hammond's Directions)
• Velociraptors Attack the Visitor Centre (evening)
• Power Box Team (evening)

Slow as Hell?

School is kind of kicking my ass, and while I don't want to take a full hiatus, or else my head will explode, I am going to be a bit slower. It sucks that I've come to this realization in the middle of the awesome dinosaur plot, but whatever.

I will try to get to posts up of my people needing to be saved in a timely manner before the plot ends, but once they're up I will be slow to tag. If the people doing the saving don't have a problem with that, awesome, slow-time is my friend, if they do, just let me know and we'll work something out. It's no big deal, and I won't take it personally if you want to drop it entirely, it's just that school comes first, and all that.

I think Kutner, Sweets and Flack were put up for saving, so if the people doing the saving could either contact me here or shoot me an e-mail (iluvroadrunner6@yahoo.com, I won't be on AIM for a while today) to let me know how you'd wish to proceed, that'd be awesome.

Also, in the event that this lasts longer than the plot, and I'm on slow time till the end of April (which I really don't want to be but it may happen), feel free to e-mail/IM me if their CRmates need them for something, or there was something filtered for them that I may have missed. Linking me is pretty much awesome, and I'll try to keep as on top of it as I can.

Hike Thread Updated!

The Hike Post has been updated! This morning, our intrepid band of explorers get to battle rising river waters and dilophosauruses! (Dilophosauri?) If you're on the casaulty list feel free to fall into the river, slip and crack your head on a rock, get blinded by the dinos, or get blinded AND nibbled on by dinos. For the sake of getting the rest of us back in with the main plot threads, try to get your characters back to the main complex by noon gametime. They didn't go THAT far but expect having to take some detours due to the nasty river and running from dinos. :) All sections up! P.S. Tagging from me will be slow today as I am at work, and god forbid I should actually work! :D But don't worry, the dilophs will still be happy to nibble on you.

My router is pretty much officially dead. I can't stay connected to the internet for more than 5 seconds. People who have me on MSN and AIM probably know this. I actually had to time and click "post" right after I saw it turned back on. This has been going on for awhile now, so I'm going to have to go on hiatus until I get my new one working. =(

Right now there is an active in her blank state wandering around you castle Paradisa. She's exploring and smiling at the ghosts.

Her name is Echo, but she used to be Caroline Farrell, but she doesn't really remember her too well.

She's coming to you post her most recent imprint being wiped from A Spy in the House of Love, and her loss is her Trust Responses. So even if we get a Boyd, or any other handler she won't have those automatic responses or that bond/level of trust.

The second character needs no introduction as he is Captain Jack Harkness. He's coming to you post Journey's End. Stepping off the TARDIS and into the Castle. His loss is Rose Tyler, because I really do want to write him here and this means that he really has no real reason why he is the way he is, or how he met the Doctor. It's all a lovely gap, and we know how much this Time Agent hates gaps in his memory.

Jeez - and may have done a little tweaking to speed up that defrosting/melting/going bad process. It's not his fault that the door broke and won't close!

So you're going to have to forage for nuts and berries or barbecue up some dino-burgers, guys. Famine's done his job.

As much as I HATE to do it, I'm dropping Wesker. Hopefully it's not permanent, if I ever get to play RE5 I'll probably want to bring him in (especially if he gets an Excella to toy with) but he's just not DOING anything right now except growling about his lack of awesome corporations here.

So thank you RE cast for being so, er, welcoming? As welcoming as anyone can be towards Wesker?

And I totally traded Wesker for Simon, BTW. So hi. He comes in post "Serenity" (the movie, not the episode) and his loss is his ability to do surgery or anything surgical related.
