...what bandwagon?

So, following Five and the Editor, Omega is leaping onto the age loss bandwagon. Or, rather, Peylix is, as he's very touchy about the whole 'Omega' thing. There's one small hitch, however -- Omega is still in the copied body of the Doctor. Expect a freak out when he gets a look in the mirror and finds out that he's not himself.

This is Academy-era Omega, far before he was considered a brilliant scientist and engineer. He's an idealist, an inventor, and a scientist. He and his friend Rassilon are at the very beginning of their quest to change Gallifrey - it's mostly dreams, at this point, but they are determined and very much aware of their own brilliance.

At this age, Peylix's awkward socially, comes off as very secure in his intelligence, and is a poor group speaker. He has a bit of a temper, but when angered, is mostly bitingly sarcastic. He'd much rather spend his time perfecting his pet theories, investigating other species' science, and planning and plotting with Rass. He despises superstition of all kinds, and hates Gallifrey's current society. Most of the Academy, professors included, consider him to be a man of very dangerous ideas, and a potential renegade.

He's being regressed to just after a major event in his life. His professor, after reading his Chronological Studies paper, gave him the lowest grade possible -- something that had never before been done in the Academy's history. The grade was 'Omega', and not only would it keep Peylix from ever rising to the first rank, it became a cruel nickname from his peers. It was a crushing disappointment for him. Really, don't call him Omega. He hates it. :|

So! I'll probably have his post up tomorrow, after class. Have fun?
