After the doom and gloom of the past few months, the Castle will be forcing some fun on its residents by making them cosplay each other on July 7-8. This isn't your plain ol' wardrobe change --so wigs, contact lenses, tattoos, plastic weapons and other body modifications may be required to achieve the desired effect, whether badly done or not.

Only characters that have been in the castle can be cosplayed to prevent any unwanted 4th Wall breaking. A character can be cosplayed by many without themselves being affected and they don't need to have existing CR, though a heads-up to the mun would be nice. Those affected, of course, can't possibly take off their costumes. Just werk it, people!

This plot is OPT-IN. Ask any questions HERE and feel free to use this post for plotting purposes, entice others to cosplay your characters, anything!

EDIT: There will be no open logs for this plot, though everyone's welcome to use Barney's BBQ as an excuse for your characters to be outside their rooms once midnight strikes!

JUST WONDERING- are they allowed to cosplay people who used to be in the castle but dropped?

Yes, they are! Though in this case, it would be nice to give the existing castmates a heads up if any. I'm making the limit just to avoid 4th wall breaking, so if the character has been in the castle then it's fine :)

Is there anything preventing characters from just staying in their rooms?

Nothing specific to this plot, nope, but their CR can or you're welcome to add extra castle loss/shenanigans to make it so :)

EDIT: FOLLOWING UP ON THIS. You're welcome to use Barney's BBQ as an excuse for your character to be out and about once midnight strikes, in case that helps!

Are palette swaps/alternate costumes fair game, or do we have to match how the character looks in Paradisa?

Sorry, I'm not sure what you mean, though it sounds alright to me. Do you have a specific example in mind?

Basically: Utena's going to cosplay as Mitsuru, and as a fighting game character, Mitsuru has different versions of her sprite that a player can select when they play as her. Mostly it's just different colored hair, skin, weapons, clothing, etc. If it was kosher, I was going to have Utena cosplay a version that resembled her a bit more closely than Mitsuru's canon appearance.
