paradisaooc | Brace yourselves, it's a loss

It's time for the loss I've wanted to put Felix on pretty much since I joined this game!

Starting now and ending on November 13th, which also happens to be his second Paraversary, Felix will get to be his 13 year old self, before his magic manifested and his master Malkar bought him from a brothel to train him in magic and basically beat how to be a gentleman into him.

Yeah.

There's some pretty major differences in his character that you may want to note:

He'll talk with a very heavy southern accent, which is indicative of people who live in the Lower City where he's from
He'll curse. A lot.
He has no magic yet, nor has idea that we will at some point
He'll be sort of physically awkward and clumsy
He won't have those pretty tattoos on his arms
He doesn't have a last name, either, since Malkar gave him that.

And, as you may have noted, he's also a prostitute and has been so for a couple years. His past is about as dismal as you'd expect and loaded with material that people might find triggering. I'd like to encourage people to check out this permissions form and let me know if there is anything I should avoid.

Obviously, he won't remember Paradisa or any of his castle CR for the duration. I feel I should mention that, once this loss is over, Felix will be very unhappy. He hates people knowing about what he was and that his gentleman noble facade is just that. I'd like people to get closer to him, but on the short term he will at best ignore your character or at worst be a raging jerk to them. Because his coping mechanisms suck.

Yes this is good and I am excited for this.

Obviously I want to throw Clow into this - which I guess is actually extra-interesting after their nightmare. But I had the thought that Shatterstar might be fun too because he will not blink at any of that, really (being a superhero mandates a Tragic Past, and he knows Sam Guthrie, who has a ridiculously thick rural Tenessee drawl). He can show Felix movies! EVERYONE LOVES MOVIES.

Ooooh yes that would be lovely. I'd really like Felix to do lots of fun kid things that he'd normally side-eye.

Now if I can just find someone to teach him vidya games.
