Wonderland Event Info + Sign-Ups
Hello, Paradisa! Dreamfinder (Rapunzel/Kurt/Mavis!Player) here to announce an upcoming event.
WONDERLAND!
From Sunday, January 13th to Saturday, January 19th, an event will happen in which characters can be transported into Wonderland. A looking glass that spans the length of one of wall will appear in the lobby, and anyone who looks into it, touches it, or just goes near it on Day One will be swept away to Wonderland. This is entirely opt-in, and there will be ways for characters who aren’t being transported to remain involved!
First, though, for those who are traveling to Wonderland, there are three options:
- An established Wonderland Character, such as the Cheshire Cat. Your character will be a mix of their original personality and the Wonderland character’s personality. Their memories will all be of Wonderland. THESE ARE ONE PER PLAYER.
The White Rabbit: A fussy and nervous servant to the Queen of HeartsThe Mad Hatter: A mad hat-maker who enjoys egging others on and tea.The March Hare: A rude hare who enjoys tea and often interrupts.The Dormouse: A sleepy creature who starts stories but falls asleep before finishing them.The Cheshire Cat: A mad and somewhat chaotic cat; willing to give advice.The Gryphon: A noble creature. He serves the queen but sees the flaws in her ways.- The Mock Turtle: A nostalgic and self-involved turtle with the head of a calf.
The Dodo : An odd bird who uses big words incorrectly and likes to be important.Tweedle Dee: Tweedle Dum’s twin. Puts importance on manners in others but is, ironically, rather rude. - The Flowers (an infinite number): Talking flowers who think they are better than other kinds of beings, and enjoy music.
The White Knight: A kind and eccentric knight from a far-off kingdom; also an inventor.
2. A “Wonderland OC”. Basically any kind of fantasy creature works here! Their memories will also all be of Wonderland, and their personality must contain some traits of the character you play.
3. Your character may remain perfectly themselves, and will be utterly baffled about Wonderland.
For those not traveling, and those who are: The journals will still work! Wonderland “natives” will recognize them as a Wonderland communication system. Journal communication works between Wonderland and Paradisa, as well.
Finally, those who aren’t traveling will, after the first day of the event, be able to see bits of Wonderland through the looking glass! They can also hear what is going on in these parts of Wonderland, and interact with the characters they see, appearing before them in a ghost-like form.
The plot basically breaks down as such: Day One is arrival day in Wonderland, and after that, mirror communication is open. Mini events and places to explore will be revealed each day, with at least one mass post per day! By Day Three, an NPC’d Alice will have arrived, eventually leading up to a trial on the final day.
