Since they have altered memories, they wouldn't really be aware that wishing is a thing!

HOWEVER, Hellboy is pretty much the worst monitor ever, so if Megamind wanted to lug a bunch of mechanical stuff around in his backpack and then tinker around with it, he is welcome to do so. :)
