DIWALI: DAY FIVE

So, so, so sorry for the extreme lateness, guys. This technically applies to the 30th; feel free to backdate, etc. as you like!

diwali; the festival of lights

otherwise known as DEEPAVALI, meaning “row of lamps”, this important festival is also known as the “festival of lights”. celebrated in india and throughout the world, the traditions of this holiday vary by region and religion, but the tone and message is largely the same – to banish the darkness and welcome in prosperity and happiness in the coming year.

DAY FIVE; BHAYYA-DUI

Traditionally this final day of Diwali is a day when sisters and brothers exchange gifts and enjoy meals together, originating from a story about Yamraj, the God of Death, and his sister Yami.

Since most residents do not have family in Paradisa, this will be a day for giving between friends, as indicated by the note you'll find at your door today. Hope you weren’t stingy with all that money.

A small PLATE OF SWEETS will appear in each residents’ room alone with another note saying simply – “Spread the joy”.

Meet with your friends, exchange gifts, and enjoy the togetherness of the day.
