Agreed. In fact, I saw a comment once about Crowley being 'asexual' in the anoncomm. The book...never actually says this 'they're sexless unless they make an effort' is the exact turn of phrase, and that's talking about angels anyway. Now, being an asexual myself, I...found that really insulting, because asexuality is not about 'making an effort'. But as it was in comment about a lot of different character relationships, I got the feeling it was more a rant about 'characters being in relationships'.
It DOES happen in real life, and we're talking about a lot of people being trapped in a world together, often for YEARS. They have traumatic experiences bringing them together...stuff happens. It shouldn't be treated as a taboo if you want to play that sort of thing. I personally ALWAYS have a warning if anything R or above is going on in any of my threads/logs, because we DO have younger players, and Crowley and Sister's journals are both marked for explicit adult content, just in case. But really, if you put warnings there, then what's so bad about it?
And yes, to all the rest. Just because sex doesn't turn into TRUE LOVE FOREVER doesn't mean it's a bad thing. Negative CR is good to have too. It can be JUST as fun as positive. Crowley and Faith had a one night stand during Christmas kisses last year, and me and Kat had fun having a few awkward conversations between the two after it. No big love or romance planned. It's not a Disney movie, after all XD
...Is it sad that however many times Sister gets mentioned here, she's been celibate for over a year? Sob.
