So, hello everybody, I'm the new Simon Dark player, and you can call me SIR Seth. If you don't know Simon Dark is, don't worry, it just means you're like everyone else. Not nearly enough people know about the awesome stitched-up, quasi-undead superhero with 20 18 souls in him, savin' Gotham from creepy occult stuff, and I strongly recommend buying up his whole series. It's only 18 issues long, so it's not nearly as expensive as you'd think (though it's also out in 3 TPBs by now). DON'T BE CHEAP, POOZERS.

Anyway, I hope to have lots of RP related fun, even if I have to drag some people into logs kicking and screaming and maybe rocking back and forth in the fetal position yeah that first part.

I'm currently enrolled at Northern Arizona University in a double major program for history and secondary education, planning to pursue that multimillion dollar career path as a public high school history teacher. I'm a collector of military surplus, especially firearms, though my collection isn't limited to just that. At the moment, it contains:

-1903 Springfield Rifle (the World War I model, not its more famous sniping brother from WWII)

-1909 Argentine Mauser

-1948A Yugoslavian Mauser

-Enfield Mk.3 Rifle

-A US, WWII era infantry helmet

-Four WWII civilian ration booklets

-A 1942 Willys Overland MB jeep that I'm currently rebuilding with my grandpa.


I tend to also love discussing history and history related trivia, especially military history, so, feel free to ask me for any nerd-tastic icebreakers you might need.

He's the modern allegory for Frankenstein, a quasi-undead superhero about 17 years old and with the souls of 18 people inside him. And a pet cat named Kitty.

Also, he punches demons right in the FACE because Simon's awesome like that. And not the Etrigan-type demons either. Demons like these guys:



His spell rituals also tend to be uh...creepy:



And the dude's got no face of his own, he has to switch between the ones belonging to his souls if he wants to look human from the neck up. Which is less popular at parties than you'd think.

Oh those aren't his, that's just the preliminary stage for entering the In-Between. And he seems FAR more accustomed to having them around than he should.

He also eventually turned those three demons into his own familiars, so there's that too. Other fun powers include a Sending Stone (which I did NOT have him bring here for reasons of it being way too powerful) that he can throw with more force than a bullet, and then control perfectly in flight with movements of his hands which let him kill over a dozen enemies while in a room with them, and he also remembers everything he's ever read or seen.

He's also insanely selfless, to the point that when someone he saved was offering him something a reward, the only thing he asked for was food (he got money to buy food instead, and he even thanked the guy. The guy he just saved, because he did something nice). Naturally he also bought his cat food before he got himself any >.>

Eunice Bloom might actually be interesting, if only because he was friends with some people in law enforcement in his own canon (one detective created by similar means to him, Tom Kirk, and Beth Granger, the coroner). Meeting one that doesn't object to him occasionally killing the bad guy would probably take him by surprise.

Oooh, awesome! NAU's pretty cool, save for their stupid new housing policy that might mean I get kicked out for a while. In a nutshell, everyone is entered into the housing lottery to be "fair" because upper classman are "more prepared" to live off campus.

Somebody forgot that male upper classmen are already double screwed in that more than half the dorms on campus are freshmen only, and then you have the number of all-female dorms further cutting down the number of units we're eligible for T_T ...and I don't have the money to live off campus. So, hurray for that 8|
