This was an extremely difficult choice to come to, but looking back over what I've done with River and my most recent attempt at a canon review has shown me just how far off the mark I have been with her. I'm not doing nearly as much as I should be with her intuitive/psychic traits or with the emotional trauma the castle should be giving her.

This was my second time having River in the castle and both times I've loved the people she's met and I could not have asked for a better Firefly cast. They are all just amazing and they deserve someone that will give River the crazy-worrisome traits that make her not just the family "troll" but the one that needs protection.

I'm wrapping up one final thread with her, but as of this morning - she's gone. She does have one pet, but I'm going to talk to someone about taking him. Otherwise, the rest of her things are gone.
