Actually though, it's because Rory's one of the people going berserk this weekend and I needed to get him to a rather bad place emotionally and/or physically, and I couldn't think of anything more traumatic for him than to be updated to that particular canon point.

Plus once Fudgey said since he's a robot at that point he'd be a robot here in Para, the opportunity was too good to pass up! :D
