All-purpose basic-info/summary post for the current mystery plot, running the 7th-9th.


BASIC GLOSSARY

Team Normal: People who aren't usually involved in the action in Paradisa, are very new, or are without any extreme powers, skills or abilities. You also want to be on this team if you don't want your character to be manipulated by the castle.

Team Super: Godmodes, spotlight-hogs, leaders. The people who are always on the front lines. These people will be given something else to do.

Team Middle: People who don't fall into either category, or people who didn't sign up for a group. If you want to be a part of the mystery, gravitate to Team Super. If you want to take part in solving the mystery, gravitate to Team Normal.



TEAM NORMAL

What should they be doing?
7th: Reacting to Team Super's strange behaviour.
8th: Investigating the problem, reacting to Team Middle following Team Super.
9th: Solving the problem and returning things to normal.

What if I'd rather have them on Team Middle?
On the eighth, join the mass post where Team Middlers leave the castle. Email the mods for further instructions. Our emails can be found on the community's profile page.

When can we expect our next set of instructions?
Evening of the 8th.


TEAM SUPER

What should they be doing?
7th: Leaving the castle.
8th: Socializing, confusing Team Normal, helping Team Middle move into the city.
9th: Once Team Normal has returned things to normal they can move back into the castle.

What if I'd rather have them on Team Middle?
Have them stick around the castle and head out on the eighth or even early on the ninth.

When can we expect our next set of instructions?
Evening of the 8th. We'll try very hard to get it out early.



TEAM MIDDLE

What should they be doing?
7th: Reacting to Team Super's strange behaviour.
8th: Leaving the castle like Team Super OR staying with Team Normal.
9th: Either with Team Super or Team Normal.

What if I'd rather have them on Team Normal?
Follow directions for Team Normal; if you haven't been put on the email list for Team Normal, email one of the mods for instructions. Our emails can be found on the community's profile page.

What if I'd rather have them on Team Super?
Do what Team Super did the day before on the 8th. Email the mods for further instructions. Our emails can be found on the community's profile page.

When do we get further instructions for either Team Normal or Team Super?
Evening of the 7th. We'll try very hard to get it out early.



OOC FLOW OF EVENTS

7th: Team Super leaves town. Team Normal and Middle react.
8th: Team Super stays in town. Team Normal investigates. Cubie delivers a message from the castle. Team Middle follows either Team Super or Normal. Team Normal meets again.
9th: Team Normal/Middle solves crisis, Team Super/Middle can come home.



IC FLOW OF EVENTS

7th: Come morning, a number of the residents have started leaving the castle. Apparently it's for some bigger, better destiny, but they seem pretty content. Those left behind, with no desire to leave, react to this loss of comrades with varying degrees of anger and sorrow, but regardless of that, it's apparent something's very wrong. They hold a meeting to go over it and try to figure out what the castle's trying to do.

8th: Starting on the second day, more residents leave the castle. Those left behind start >putting their plans into action and spying on the new "city people." Cubie delivers a message from the castle. In reaction, those left behind gather again to plan their move against the castle...

What if I'd rather not play this plot?
Your character can mysteriously vanish for a few days, or you can have them join Team Super and head off into town to be Natives for a bit.

Why are you using emails and stuff?
We're trying two new things with this plot:

a) seeing how it works setting up surprises/plot twists to react to.
b) reversing the power play without just "depowering" people.

Naturally, since we're trying something new, we ask for people's patience. If it works, awesome, if it doesn't work, we never have to try something like this again. Things will be back to normal relatively soon and Paradisa will go on regardless. Cool? Cool.
