Slowatus and early Christmas presents

First, I thought to go ahead and put this up here while I have some time. I'm declaring a slowatus since... y'know. Christmas eve and Christmas are times for family. I may try to sneak on for some tags tonight but probably won't post anything since my dad's in town and I want to try to spend as much time with him as possible.

CR for Peter, Hermione and Percy can assume they exchanged presents.

And now for the more important part of this post: I am excited to re-introduce a character most people may not recognize: Triela from Gunslinger Girl! I had her way back in early 2009 and she's coming in for the Christmas plot. So merry early Christmas, Ang! I'll probably try to throw up a post for her later today or tonight.

For those unaware, Gunslinger Girl is an amazing animanga following cyborg assassin girls. I described it to a friend as "little girls with big guns" although that's hardly the bulk of the story. If anyone's interested, subbed and dubbed episodes are available on Hulu. Subbed can sometimes be better because through that I found out Triela's third language is French! ROFL. Her new username is darkest_snow so keep on the look-out. And her new canon point is episode 10 of season 2, so she has a bit more experience on her shoulders this time.

And yes, the cyborgs are deadly. But Triela's new loss is the ability to use weapons, so she's not quite as lethal. She can still kick your ass, though. Have a gif as demonstration!

Between Christmas, the nearly inaccessible by phone LJ, and the fact that my BFF is coming to visit for New Year's and we're hitting up DisneyWorld LIKE A BOSS... I am going to be slow for a little while!

This affects Phoenix Wright and Rin and Len Kagamine until January 2.

I WILL still continue tags that are going on right now, and I'll also be checking in on the comms when I have the chance. Just wanted to let people know why it might take me a while. Drop me a line at ColorfulCow at gmail dot com if there's something I need to pay attention to. ;)

I know a lot of us have been busy over the past week or so because of the holidays (I know I have been ;;), or have had problems with LiveJournal. Consequently, this may have caused players to miss some kissing/Paris posts that they wanted to hit but simply didn't have the time or the means to. A few of us were chatting on Plurk about how maybe it would be nice to have a central place with links for people who might've missed some things in all the chaos.

So, this is where this post comes in! If you have a kissing or Paris post (or both) that you're open to having people backtag, feel free to link it here :) As people add theirs, I'll make a directory in the body of this post for easy navigation.

Yup Mycroft Holmes you guys can blame Kiku, Alcy and Pi for this the constantly trying to diet, may-as-well-be-the-British-government Holmes. He's post The Great Game so he's set for the new series in January. Fresh out of fixing Korean elections really. And he's ready to stalk his little brother.

His loss? Well you know how stalkers like using cameras?...Mycroft can't. Or any similar high tech gadget that is a camera. He'll forget, or be unable to or grow confused. He also can't ask someone to set it up for him, same results there.

I'll get his intro up soon, I need to hammer some details out behind the scenes first.

Lagging behind Knight. Is this a new thing? Hi! I'm Alcyone! I'm responsible for loveablecoward, gwaine and stateofatrophy and I'm bringing a HBIC to balance out the testosterone in my line-up. Don't be fooled by her womanly ways. She's more manly and bamf than the other three.

This is not!Anthea from that show no one has heard of, Sherlock. Not!Anthea because that is not her name; she never gives her real name and switches pseudonyms whenever she gets bored. So expect to be given a different name at any point. She's this svelte man's PA and she'll be helping him stalk his little brother run his day-to-day business. She's normally glued to her Blackberry, but she won't here because her phone was her entry price. Considering she never looks up from the thing, she'll be looking for a replacement.
