In the wake of LJ's Epic Fail (see post below) I have switched the main comm to Minimalism and enabled custom comment pages. While this will not save you entirely, it should make the RP at least *playable* until LJ fixes this shit.

Please pass this on to anyone on your plurklist/buddylist/street.

paradisa and paradisalogs are changed over. paradisaooc, however, I can't do anything about, because it is not a paid community. CATCH TWENTY-TWO MUCH?

Alright, guys, I'm trying to make sure we have a layout that works best with more people to tide us over until a better solution:

Take a look and navigate around both paradisa and paradisalogs for a few moments. Check out threads and look at layouts. Comment around (haha, make some CR!) and see which you like better. Paradisa is currently set up with Aquatic Somethingorother and Paradisalogs is set up with iPad Somethingorother.

From what I can see so far:

Aquatic DOES have navigation/linklists, but the comment threads are forced to be narrower due to the sidebar.
iPad DOES NOT have navigation/linklists, but the comment threads span the entire width of the page.

BOTH allow everything we used before; icon selecting/dropdown, previewing, plain text boxes, etc.

I'd like to know which is more functional, so I can get both comms on the same page and ensure this whole fiasco is as manageable as possible for our players.

Newb on the tail of lj fail

Hello Paradisa, my name is Jess and/or Raspberry, and I'm a  newbie coming in with one Flynn Scifo from Tales of Vesperia! Flynn is a very Lawful Good knight who spends most of the game following his best friend around cleaning up his world saving messes and trying to rein in princesses. He's a very polite and good natured fellow, if a bit of a stubborn nagger. He's coming into Paradisa having lost his ability to use a sword.

A few bonus notes for those that know his canon: he's post canon, only using info from the XBox360 version (plus a few bits of translated info from the PS3 game, but still assuming he never traveled with the party) and only adding in movie canon where it doesn't clash with game canon. I'm sure that makes no sense for those that haven't had to deal with the games confusing localization and/or US beta stuffs.

As for the current Paris plot I'm still working out how I want to wriggle him in, but I'm open for any suggestions/plotting hooks. I can be reached at raspberrydrink on AIM and the same on Plurk
