Hey guys, name's Julian. Just gonna hop into Paradisa alongside Robotnik here and introduce m'self real quick.

Robotnik is essentially a power-hungry tyrant scientist who hates nature and small animals. He goes by Eggman usually these days, but I'm gonna stick with Eggman as a pet-hate nickname he's learned to ignore, like he's gotten used to it after so long. Pointless little headcanon thing, what can ya' do~

His point of entry is during his defeat in sonic colors, so as the giant robot explodes and he begins to helplessly hurl into the vast reaches of space he suddenly finds himself in the castle.

His loss is his memory of the chaos emeralds. If by some chance they are mentioned, he'll just consider them useless trinkets at best.

So, that's all I reckon. Look forward to RP'ing with you guys~

I need your help!

As some of you might know, paradisa is having it's 5TH ANNIVERSARY in two and a half weeks.This is a momentous occasion for an RP, so we want to make it something special for you guys, right?

So one of the things that I need from you guys is quotes. I want you guys to take a moment to find your favorite quotes, threads, or conversations that have been done over the past five years and post them here on this post. They can be funny, sad, heart-warming, heart-wrenching, bad ass - whatever you think was a great quote. It can be as short a couple words, or as long as a several comments conversation. I emphasize to please submit stuff, don't assume that everyone else will! If you want a quote in there, you gotta put it in there. This is not a popularity contest, it's a who actually does their work contest.

We will accept quotes from muns and OOC quotes as well! Please make sure they are related to Paradisa and in no way inflammatory towards other players and former players, for inflammatory ones WILL be rejected. Depending on the context or by request, some of these quotes will be made anonymous when shown to the public.

ANYONE can submit AS MANY quotes as they'd like, there is no limit. All comments on this post will be SCREENED and anonymous commenting is ENABLED. And I emphasize anyone can do this, even if they are no longer playing in the game or are just people who watch the comm for fun. All I request is that you copy and paste the quotes into a comment, the names of the characters who said them and if you can a link to the post where the quote is found. You are also free to comment in this post as MANY times as you like, just post whenever you find something since I know it can be hard to think of stuff right off the top of your head.

You have until Wednesday, November 30th at 11:59PM US Eastern Time to submit quotes. And yeah, there will be a few reminders before then.

On the week of December 1st, all the quotes will be put on several special posts, depending on how many quotes we get, dedicated to people's favorites quotes with no information on who submitted it (aka, if you want to give an ode to yourself - go for it but do try to give odes to other people too). So you guys will get to see some of the times that are most memorable to people.

And that's it! There may be other posts asking for help with the anniversary but until then - happy quote hunting! ♥

EDIT: Also to let you know, I may be editing out some of the OLDER quotes from previous years to save on space. However most of these will be...the inside joke ones of muns who aren't around anymore or the very very old ones (like 2006/2007 old, unless they are timeless amazing quotes). Not all of them will go and all the ones submitted this year will stay on there (so if you wish to make sure your favorite old quote remains, submit it!)! Just some of them, in case you guys notices some missing ones when the quote post goes up.

While both praise and critique is welcome, we'd like to remind you that this is a valuable tool for many of our members. We'd like to request that all comments remain constructive.

While the staff highly encourages everyone to participate, only comment if you are capable of giving and taking potentially harsh concrit in a mature, level-headed manner. Assume good faith at all times. Crit is meant to be resolved, not "won". Give mutual respect for each other's work and ideas. Aggressiveness creates unproductive stress and conflict. If you are emotionally compromised, you are not fit to captain the Starship Enterprise need to step back, take a break, and then return when you're ready.

Anonymous commenting is DISABLED, but sock journals are ALLOWED. If you would like to use a sock journal, you will have to request access to the comm first. If you want to receive anonymous crit anyways, please take advantage of the Private HMD thread (see below).

We have provided a form to post with, if you would like to use it. Mentioning things like canon points, permanent losses and recent major events in their lives in Paradisa may help give people a better idea of the character's mindset and current actions.

hiatus

So, as some of you know, I'm kind of in the midst of applying to graduate school right now. I've set a deadline to get all of my applications in by December 15 and between that and my new job, I don't really have the time or drive to tackle tags on a regular basis. (I'm being paranoid and with 10-15% acceptance rates, maybe applying to ten schools. >> ).

ANYWAY. I think rather than continuously ignoring things, for the time being, a hiatus is my best bet. Soooooooo, I'm going to have Brennan go on autopilot saying that she's spending most of her time in the lab, trying to set up training exercises and such for those who work there.

Um. Anything in particular you might need me for, I'll still be around via AIM and plurk! So. Just holler! <333.
