I didn't want to do this, but I've slowly come to recognize what might have been just rp burnout might actually be depression. I just...don't feel like doing anything, let alone rp. So I'm gonna take a regrettful step back, try to get my life in order, and hopefully come back ready to roll. I'm giving myself a week. I will continue to backtag ongoing threads and whatnot in the meantime, though probably slowly, and you can always find me on Plurk or AIM (Dragonwing2002) if I'm absolutely needed for anything.

So, Guy's going home (which also puts me out of the game.) It's been fun playing with you all this past year, but I'm afraid I'm not going to be able to keep this up. Life has been pretty crazy this year in terms of unexpected surprises (i.e., mudslide,) and recently, I've taken over as a mod of hoodland, as well as writing and doing art (multiple pieces) for rhbigbang and art for xmenbigbang. I've been on hiatus for the past month and a week, hoping that I might find some time to play once hoodland started; but, it's not quite worked out as well as I thought it would (even a small land comm like ours is an INCREDIBLE amount of work.)

Also, Guy is a very anti-social character and I've really had some trouble playing him because of it - he's not the type to open up, and even after going good, he was still pretty short with people (and not above throwing them into a wall when they angered him.) I feel like the more I try to make him a bit more outgoing, the farther I get away from his character. :-/ And with Marian gone now, his anti-social tendencies would only get worse. According to canon, losing Marian immediately puts him into drunken-deathwish!mode, and I just... really don't want to go there. *sigh*

Anyway, it was nice meeting you all, and good luck to everyone! :)

Sup guys, from monday the 12th to friday the 16th, my friends are kidnapping me to Cumbria for some much needed looking-after-me-destressing time. I won't have internet access at all in that time, so there will be no tags in that period of time.

John, Mal and Spike will be carrying on with their normal buisness. Crowley will be having one of his week-long naps, and as he's teetering on the edge of a physcotic breakdown right now, Fenris will be turning into a wolf. He'll largely be wandering around, avoiding Danarius and bothering Anders. As always, if they wish to, their CR are free to note their absence.

So I'll be returning on friday, hopefully feeling rested and marginally less of an emotional mess. Catch you then!

Mostly because I am going crazy.

But anyway. I'm going to take the advice given to me and settle myself down, canon review, and focus on my classes for a while. This semester is big for me and I don't want to wear myself horribly thin. I hope to come back a better Equius.

Er, better... Yeah. That's the word I'm going for here.

But anyway. I'll be dropping off the face of the Earth Paradisa for about a month and will be back STRONG and proud, hopefully.

If I'm in any threads right now, feel free to continue them, I'll tag, but nothing new for me now.
