Slowatus

This is Lel, announcing a slowatus for the next week or so.  I'm going  to have limited internet access for the next few days.  No losses for my boys, but they will be mostly on autopilot.

Conan will be keeping a low profile as he looks for suspicious activity around the castle.

Will will be burying himself in the library's classics and mythology sections.

Danny will be exploring the castle and attempting not to draw any attention to himself.

mini hiatus

SO... I've been... kind of... sparse this month... and I'm about to be sparser! I'm heading to Indiana tomorrow to see friends and won't be back until Monday. Kenshin will just be on auto-pilot until then, stalking the wife, wandering around, the usual.

I AM going to post for the language event, my replies will just be very backdated since... I may or may not have internet access and more importantly my mind will probably not be on RP lol.

SO I'LL SEE YOU GUYS IN A FEW DAYS!

mini hiatus

It's been a long, long time in Paradisa, folks, but this has been a long time in coming.

Tony Stark and Evangeline McDowell are leaving the castle, and with that, I am also bowing out of the game.

It's been a long time coming, but I've been struggling with activity, motivation, and a feeling of burnout in the game for a long time now. There's no one particular reason, and I still love the game, but after a lot of consideration, this is what's best.

Paradisa's been my home for... over four years, now. Since May of 2007. That's a long time. I've met a lot of amazing people, seen awesome characters come and go, and done a lot during my stay here. Being here has helped me through rough times in my life, given me some of my best friends, and honestly provided me with some of my finest memories.

It's hard to sum up just how much the game has and does mean to me, and it was an even harder decision to make.

I still love this game though, so don't be surprised if I get my drive back and end up dragging myself back some time in the future.

Anyway, as for my characters, Tony's gone, and Eva's gone in game as well (but sticking around in the comms long enough to finish one last thread.) They've each been around in Paradisa for a long time, and they've each done their fair share during their time here. They've each made their own impacts to the game, Tony especially....

Hiatus.

Hahahaha UHM. Ok. So. I was a complete moron and ran around trying to set up plotting and threads with people and then got sick and so busy I left everyone hanging. I'M REALLY SORRY ABOUT THAT.

Just letting everyone know that over the next 4ish weeks I am going to be super, super, super busy and stressed because oh em gee, I am going to be making my first solo trip overseas. To America. (omg plane ride. Why you so damn long?!)

So, amongst packing and fretting and avoiding episodes of LOST, I'm unsure how or when I will get to tags. I owe a few to people already and I will probably get to them at random points. If you notice a long last tag arrive in your inbox from me and you feel the thread went stale, let me know! I know trying to reply to something from a month ago can be ridiculously...ridiculous....so yes, I understand! It's ok!

As for Hesam....

Can we assume he got stuck in his own little bubble of slow motion and has spent the last week or so just taking days to do what everyone can do in a second? Like blink? Yes? Awesome.

And on that note.

If someone were to let's say, turn Hesam into an animal to last the distance of the propose hiatus, what animal would you suggest? .....and who would feed him?

IN CONCLUSION: Hiatus, I am taking one. However I probably will try and jump into threads or at least finish threads I have with people. I honestly can't promise I will so I'm taking the hiatus status train just to be safe. :) This will only impact ~Hesam~.

An Odd Arrival

Hey folks! Kyra here with a 4th character. I missed having a balanced cast. ^.^

Probably tomorrow I'll be bringing in Odd Thomas from the Odd Thomas series by Dean Koontz. As his name probably gives away, Odd's slightly...unusual.

On the surface, he's a pretty quiet kid. He's polite and generally laid back so he's not going to be making huge waves if he can help it...but there are a few things he can do when things take a turn for the worse.

He comes from the end of Odd Thomas, mourning the loss of his girlfriend, and his castle-induced loss is the birthmark on his hand.

I can't wait to throw him around with you all. :D
