A quick heads-up: I will be on a work-related hiatus (this reads more seriously than it truly is) until the weekend/early next week. Thankfully, none of my characters are likely to have much relevance in the upcoming plot, but if I/they might be needed for anything, please do not hesitate to contact me via email, PM (kind of dubious about this one with LJ being...LJ), or plurk -- probably not IM.

I will attempt to backtag as and when I can.

Loss!

Meta will be going on a loss based on this.

Quick summary; there is a Buddist philosophy based on loving-kindness and friendliness called Mettā. It starts by accepting and loving one's self, then a close friend, a 'neutral' person, a 'difficult' person, and eventually the entire universe. Obviously this is something Meta should try.

It'll be a gradual progression with a lot of meditation and chanting (and by 'chanting', of course, I mean 'grumblygrowlgrowlgrumble). I also imagine by the end of it he'll leave some sort of goodwill gift for those he meditated on, to be determined later.

Anyway, I could do with a couple volunteers! It won't be anything too involved -- Him filtering to them directly in a post or seeking them out on his own. I'll specifically need characters for the "neutral" and "difficult" categories. It'll be a progression that'll last through the month, so there's no rush. :3

Also, since this is a religion based Loss, if you do not want him showing up in your posts let me know! Here or AIM or wherever you're comfortable. :3

Hopefully starting tonight, tomorrow for sure if RL eats me.

Hiatus

So I'm going to be on vacation this weekend through the next and am thus going on hiatus! This week has somehow also filled up so I'm calling it a bit early so I don't feel too bad about neglecting majority of my tags. Some of them will still come in very sporadically until I go away, though!

Starting Saturday the 13th:
Neku will be... doing something. I'm still ironing the details of that out! Most likely he will be a turtle or a plant or something. But whatever it is he will be fully out of commission but still here.
Nill will be sleeping her time away. Because I am wholeheartedly unoriginal like that. She will, though, not be findable.

Oh, and this is going through August 22nd. See you all on the flip side!
