One Adorable Blonde Vampire Coming Up

Hey everyone! This is Katie, Lilah Morgan-mun, here with my second character, Lexi Branson from the series The Vampire Diaries. She's a fairly minor character (only shows up in two episodes) but a lot of fun! She's Stefan's best friend and the one who helped him not be crazy ripperchan. Though she doesn't feed directly from humans (sup blood bags she scores from hospitals and stuff) she also doesn't feel shame in what she is. She enjoys being a vampire, enjoys her powers. More than anything else, Lexi is a hedonist. She wants to enjoy herself as uch as possible.

She's coming from the end of the season one episode, 162 Candles, right after Damon stakes her 8( Her loss is going to be her ability to drink alcohol, which she usually uses to help curb her cravings for blood. So that should be fun.

You can't have funeral without the word fun!

Hey everyone! Just a quick thing.

As of Allen's post yesterday, a group of characters have started planning out a funeral to be held for the victims of Riful, Arthas and company (particularly the seven townspeople and Arthur since they are the bodies they have - but there can be something said for the other townspeople and residents killed by them too.)

The funeral itself will be held ICly Tomorrow (Sunday July 31st) in the afternoon as funerals kinda takes some time to prepare also to give a people who weren't around yesterday a chance to jump in and get involved. LJ permitting if people are interested, I will throw up an event post for it where people can participate in the funeral itself and it will be backtagging friendly. If LJ breaks again, I'll just throw up the post as soon as I can and backdate it.

Some notes about the funeral itself:

- Even if your character did not know Arthur, they are allowed to attend since honoring the dead is cool and the other bodies need support too. However if your character would be inclined to troll or otherwise antagonize the other participants, it might be a good idea to have them conveniently chase a shiny ball of tinsel around the halls instead since Abel will rip their face off and/or there will be many godmods there who won't hesitate to kick their asses. Trolls who do behave are allowed to attend though! (Even if Allen totally snapped at Aradia /FEELS BAD FOREVER)

- It will be taking place on the farmland that the bodies were found, as a gesture to help cleanse the place and it might make townspeople more willing to attend (since...7/8 of their bodies are their people).

- The style of the funeral will be cremation on wooden pyres, eight pyres so each body will have one. The bodies will get wrapped in shrouds as per Percy suggestion.If your character would like to help either building the pyres or making the shrouds - please comment to Allen's post! They need all the help they can get!

- Along that note if people would like to help with identifying the townspeople, that would be appreciated too. If people wish, we can make up identities for them so we have something to say during the funeral about them.

- If there are any mourning/funeral traditions (items, songs, certain prayers, speeches, types of flower, holding a drinking-based wake afterwards, clothing, etc etc) that your character would like to do and is not seen as horribly offensive to everyone outside that culture (aka, no desecrating the bodies), they will be completely free to do so. If you aren't sure about what the other characters would see as offensive, just run it by us before hand though I'm trusting you guys to be pretty good judges about what would be seen as appropriate/inappropriate in an Earth-based funeral.

- The ashes of the townspeople will be given to their families afterwards and Arthur's ashes will be...left up to Kaye and Arthur's close CR to decide eventually! Allen will be pushing for markers of some sort to be made for the victims in memory, though there is a graveyard in Paradisa for the dead residents and a graveyard in the city so those markers on the farm can be pretty simple. If your characters want to hold any special events after that...feel free but I'll be leaving it up to you guys to plot that out :)

- We're open to the post being in any format, which is why i made a poll! Please vote in what you will prefer. There is most likely going to be a funeral post unless 99% of muns want to imply. But if you don't have time to post in the funeral post or don't feel up to tagging it - you can feel free to imply that your character was there in the crowd of townspeople. We will also be backtagging friendly too (meaning there will be subheaders so people can tag into each part of the funeral with either option)! This is mostly just a nice chance for characters to take some time to acknowledge the deaths that have been going on.

 Hey all new member in the house xD  I'm Knight, and I bring with me the wonderful, oh so amazing, Dr. James Watson from Sanctuary, member of the Five and one of my favorites from the show, albeit he was short lived with a grand total of, four episodes I do believe. 

Anyway, for those of you not familiar with the show James is well..the Sanctuary equivalent of Sherlock Holmes, in fact in his cannon he inspired them.  And unlike the other members of the Five who survived for a hundred odd years he didn't do so because of biology but a rather elaborate contraption that didn't allow him to age, turning it off aged his body to its current hundred odd year age, and was lethal on show.  Oh and he's dead in his cannon time line, did I mention that? And here in Para...he's well convinced he's dead as his cannon point right now is his death at Bhalasam, so his first post should be fun no? 

As for his loss, well you know that device that didn't let him age? Yeah...he doesn't have that, though thanks to the castle he can't age and die, but he gets pain, and the chance to relearn how to move around without the brace.  It should be fun no? XD

If you want to plot I only have AIM right now and its zaftswordfish, so you can hit me up there, or anything of the sort.  I'll get his first post up sometime tonight, and I can't wait to get to posting with you all!
