Hiatus time, as I'll be off to San Diego tomorrow for SDCC. Should be back Monday, Tuesday at the latest. I'm not bringing my laptop with me, so if you've got anything that Teresa, Asuka, Stephanie or myself should be aware of, feel free to drop me an e-mail and I'll catch ya when I get back. :)

Uh

Um.

Hi. So I kind of disappeared for a while, the process going a little like: miss a few days due to rl > get anxious about catching up > procrastinate and sleep > get MORE anxious over catching up > procrastinate and sleep A LOT MORE > repeat as needed

Basically I stressed out over being behind, which led to being more behind, WHICH IS ALL VERY DUMB and I deeply apologise to everyone. Hence I am kicking myself out of this cycle already, and I will be backtagging and hopefully posting, I SEE I KIND OF MISSED BATMAN DISAPPEARING UHHH... Talon may have been brooding over this. A lot. Loss of authority figure he was just getting to know :c So if anyone wants to backlog stuff or anything, please hit me. Or just hit me because I deserve it for being a flake, yep.

Also it was Tim's birthday on the 19th as it turns out I PRETTY MUCH MESSED THAT UP ALL OVER THE PLACE and he is unlikely to make/have made a fuss, but if anyone wants to do anything with that just h...it me. Here or on aim or whatever.

Hey, guys!

I'm back from hiatus which means Dean's leather jacket loss is over and whoever has it and/or is wearing it will be met with the very awkward situation of a naked and disgruntled Dean Winchester.

I know that I've missed a lot but I'm ready to get back on track. Whoever wants to have dibs on the jacket at the time of his loss end please let me know or offer here, if it comes down to more than one offer I'll pick the most likely or funniest situation out of those that did.

Hi guys!! I'm considering the hiatus I put up last week at an end. So Ted will be a human again, and Toothless will be back at castle grounds! An entry for Ted will be up shortly.

However, I do need to have another hiatus from the 24th to the 27th for a short school summer camp. I guess there's not much of a point in ending one hiatus just to have another in a few days, but damn I have missed rping in Para way too much.

I'll be trying to get all those threads I had going along with commenting around a bunch. Let me know if you've got a hanging thread with Ted or Toothless you'd like to continue! I'll probably get to it, but better safe than sorry, right? ♥

Some of you have known this is coming, but yeah, here's me making it formal. I'll be backdating a few closing posts with certain people, so Kanaya is still a member of the comm, but I don't have the time or energy to give her the attention she deserves, so I'm going to bite the bullet and drop her.

I had a lovely time with our fantastic cast, and I miss her already - thanks for threading with her, everyone who did. I wish I'd been able to keep her! Here's missing her already.

Still around with Rin Asano and Tyki Mikk. ♥

ETA FOR SOME: for the trolls, Kanaya wasn't idle while she was here, so every troll here is being left a gift! Kanaya has been working on team jackets for the trolls, and every remaining troll will find the product of her labor in their rooms. The jackets are very sleek with the coolest lines you can imagine (maybe a bit like this: http://www.interimex.cz/editor/image/eshop_products/image_m_242.jpg) in black and steel grey, because trolls think fashion is stupid, after all. However, the lining of each jacket matches each recipient's blood color. The hoods have little button flaps so they can be worn over the horns. On the breast pocket, each troll's symbol is embroidered in their blood color.

Rose gets Kanaya's remaining fabrics and sewing things - Rose knits, but maybe she'll find a use for these other things. :) Vriska also gets the plants Kanaya received as gifts - which is to say, Vriska is getting her gift back, as well as the Bird of Paradise flower Kanaya received from Karkat.

Discussion Time!

There has been some discussion between various players and the mods recently, about the idea of being able to bring back former characters with their memories of Paradisa in tact. Obviously this is still just under discussion which is why this post has been set up (at the request of the mods) for the community as a whole to talk about it.

Some of the concerns raised were:

-- What would be the qualifications for bringing back someone with their memories in tact (e.g. time in para previously with the character)?
-- How to keep it fair
-- How many characters should come in at once / should there be gaps between?
-- Should there be added penalties for bringing in a character this way (e.g. extra losses, or a slow return of memory over time)?

There will be two sections to this post to keep it organised, so please stick under those =)

If you would be SERIOUSLY interested in bringing back a past character, please comment here with your player name and the name of the character you would want to bring back with memories.
