Canon bump tiems!

So, I've been thinking about this for a while, and I've decided it's time for Jono to get a rather drastic canon bump! For those who don't know, Jono is one of the many mutants to lose his powers as a result of "M-Day". This basically meant he spent like a year in the hospital, hooked up to an artificial heart/lung machine, cursing his bad luck. He's kidnapped by Clan Akkaba, a cult of mutants who worship Apocalypse as their god/ancestor, as Jono is the descendent of a fringe member of the cult, and they pump him full of Apocalypse's blood, healing his body, returning his powers, and changing his appearance to that of a young Apocalypse lookalike, as seen in New Excalibur #9

Basically, it's gonna work out like this. In his grief over losing Josh, Julian, and Laura, Jono is going to take it upon himself to engage in a solo training session, and the castle is going to be a douchebag and pump up the difficulty so high that he gets knocked the fuck out. He'll be out for a week, and anyone who visits him in the clinic or his room will get to watch his slow transformation. His internal organs will grow back, his chest and jaw will fill in, and finally his skin will turn gray, and the tattoo on his chest will appear. After a week he'll wake up with only the vaguest memories of ever being in Paradisa, and those memories will slowly come back to him.

Finally? I'll be switching journals from ruined_jaw to decibel_chamber . This is all mod-approved <3

I'm going to be across the country, in New York, from the 19th through the 24th. I'll be spending a lot of the time being all tourist-like, and I'm not sure if the hotels we'll be staying in will actually have internet access. So I'm calling a hiatus for then, but will peek my head in every once in a while if I can.

Only effects Zelman Clock, who will be busy figuring out what to do with the aquarium that showed up in his kitchen. Them's the breaks.

Also, if anyone has any recommendations for places I should visit while I'm in New York, I have a post on my realjay asking about that sort of thing! I've never been, so I'd love imput. :>

Soooo, because I have a guilty streak a mile long -- I want to apologize for being so damn slow lately. Unfortunately, this slow tagging streak is going to continue for a week or so longer. Between program outings/lectures tomorrow and Thursday, and a diving course Friday/Saturday, my week is going to be insane.

Not to mention all the million other things I ought to be doing on a more day-to-day regular basis.

So. Please just bare with me and I understand if people want things to drop and stuff. But I *will* tag, both for Bren and Sarah Jane. Just give me time, please. Thanks.

So! Hard on the heels of that last post is this alert: the icon you see here is not a malfunction.

I'm not great at being dramatic or flowery about these things, so I'll get right to the point: Yuan and the Eleventh Doctor are switching bodies for a week or so. Since both of them have abilities that are basically inherent to their physical bodies, this means that Yuan will have Time Lord senses, and Eleven will have lightning magic.

Yes, we have made Oncoming Storm rather literal.

IC posting will happen shortly. Now back to your regularly-scheduled castle antics.

Many thanks to His Derpiness Prince Arthur (thread still on going), Morgana is going to be knocked out for the next four to five days! During which she is getting both a canon bump to the end of Season 2, a month or two after it to be specific, after Merlin the Jerk poisons her and Morgause whisks her away to save her from you know... dying, and a loss change from the memories of Mordred to the image of Morgause. She's going to remember who her sexy half sister is, but won't be able to remember what she looks like to save her life.

So she will be waking up after spending some time in a lovely coma, nicely healed from her near death experience but with some bitterness, rage and a bit of distrust along for the ride. Who can blame her the girl got poisoned after all by someone who she considered a good friend. It kinda sucked.

I just wanted to throw up an apology for flaking out there for a bit. I had stopped tagging for the weekend to spend it with Ang and had all intention of catching up on Monday... but ended up getting absolutely screwed by work and having my tagging energy absolutely sapped. I'm going to catch up tonight and and will likely post Phoebe's intro sometime in the next day or so.

My name is Mary and I am completely new to paradisa so I'm a little bit nervous. But excited.

I'm bringing Vivian Volkoff from Chuck into the game and for those of you who don't know her. She used to be a lovely, sweet girl, hidden away from the world until Team Bartowski intervened and sent her on a dark path which ended up in her taking over her father's empire (he's an international arms dealer btw). Vivian's a skilled horse rider, can speak five languages, good with firearms and has a black belt.

Although, to be fair, she was manipulated by her father's lawyer and seemed uncertain to actually do anything back until the penultimate episode of this season. I don't want to spoil you guys too much so I'll shut up.

I really hate to do this, guys, but Guido and Sister are going home. My dad's been in and out of hospital for the last week, and today we've learned his cancer has relapsed aggressively. I can't handle a large number of characters and deal with this at the same time right now. I apologise to all their CR, especially as it's such short notice. If dad's condition worsens, I'll probably have to let go of a couple more, just to forewarn you.

I'm NOT taking a hiatus, because quite frankly RP is one of the very few distractions I have right now, but my tags will continue to be slow, so just bear with me a while.

Sorry again guys. Life sucks.
