So now that there is actually a week of quiet in Paradisa, Yuan, Clark, and Abel want to go ahead with what they've been planning for months on end now. They want to take Joshua's horns away, and they're going to succeed. What does this mean?

It means that a sane Joshua is going to be left behind. The smidgets you've seen during the L.A. and highschool plot will be a reality. Now, this obviously won't be permanent because that's not the character I applied for, but the people that have been working to subdue Joshua need some sense of satisfation that they might have succeeded, Colette needs to be able to return from the Dead Zone, and I'm sure everyone could use a break from the teenage troll.

Once his horns are gone, he'll probably be normal for no more than a few months, depending on circumstances and how he manages to get them back (villains plotting to give them back to him, the castle being a douche, etc).

I believe this is going down on Wednesday once we figure out the details. Peter and Ino may also be involved. If this seems sudden to some people, I promise it isn't. It just involves thread stalking to see all the threads they've been planning on.

I promise to get a post up for Joshua today so that anyone who wants a slice of the crazy can get one last fling before he's 'not evil'.

Since the heroes already have their plan in order, they want to get it done NOW. But so that we have an IC excuse for not rushing everything TOO much, Yuan is going to be turned into a cat for a few days.

Hey, guys! In case anyone is still interested I need three more people, or characters, that would be interested in being in a bar fight over at the Deathmatch here.

I would say it's already happened and been done with and his loss change unconsciousness is current (as I plan the post to repercussions of it on Wednesday) but I still need more to be involved than just Roy and Jet. I love those guys! I'm just really working hard to have it involve some decent CR so I have something to work with upon returning. Everyone wants plot built between characters, right? WELL I DO TOO. ♥

Well, I've been considering doing this for a while, and it seems the time's finally come. Anya's voice used to come very easily to me, but for some reason, that hasn't been the case here. She hasn't really clicked for me, and I haven't been giving her the attention she deserves. I'm not gonna force it because that's not fun for anyone, so... Anya's going home. She won't be very sorry about it, though. Still, hopefully someday someone else can pick her up and really do her justice.

Oh, and I'll still be sticking around with Spike, so you know, still hit me up for plotting or whatever.

THE TREEHOUSE IS OPEN!

Sora has indeed opened up a rec room for anyone to use! It'll be a safe environment to hang out and have fun that isn't the game room or the library (or a bar - some of us are still kids, you know!) - it's kind of an amalgamation of everything, except with hanging out as the main goal. And when I say safe, I mean if Sora catches anyone being a jackass, he'll kick 'em out. Don't worry! This is Sora, he's pretty chill.

I want to try and make Treehouse posts a monthly thing, and I want to encourage everyone, and newbies especially, to use it! Hopefully, it'll be a good way for characters to mix without having to randomly bump into each other in the lobby, kitchen, or library. Come in, get some cr, meet people, destroy each other in Bubble Bobble!

As a last note, I don't want to imply that the room is a monthly thing - please go ahead and use it as a meeting place, party central, somewhere to hang for some quiet time, whatever! I'll try to have Sora tag into any posts located at the Treehouse, because I do intend to have him meet pretty much all the kids here, if not everyone period!

So... Red here! Life is still a mess. Everywhere. But, I can at least see the top of the hill now? I start my first day of 'real' work tomorrow, amidst a whirlwind of terrible drama (who thought that working with family was a good idea?) testing out an experimental shift, the awful commute, etc. So, this week is going to be HELL, but at least I'll have a better idea of how things are going to be afterward?

Given that, I first want to apologize-- to muns and castmates and CR and anyone else who I might have blown off or failed with in some way recently. Things should be getting better soon, and I will be returning with a lighter character load and more confidence! Also a huge apology to all the new muns and characters that I haven't gotten to meet yet. I want to hang out with you guys SO MUCH. I'm missing out and I know it.

I'm not hiatusing completely-- I'm still trying to unbury ancient notifs and at least reply to them once, and try to be there for two awesome new castmates, and keep up with a few other things that require my characters' attention... but, beyond that... I'm calling this a FAIL-ATUS because I'm just... a total loser right now. I promise I will be better soon, just try to forgive my transgressions in the meantime? Aauuugh...

It's been rough times in RL for a while now and there are a lot of things that need to be fixed and require my full attention right now. Unfortunately, it means I need to peace out to get things in order. I'm sorry I couldn't give a better heads up, but my head is elsewhere.

I've played here for over four years and I've met so many amazing writers and even more so, amazing people. You all rock. This is my only RP home and I'm super bummed to leave you all for now. I'm really, really hoping things settle down in a couple of months so I can get back here. This place has been my favorite RP experience by far and I'm so happy I was able to see how much the game has grown and changed.
