So hey, it's Dirk. I'm officially coming off of my hiatus. Things have finally normalized a little in my life, so you can expect tags and things from my merry little band of misfits again. Someone wanna catch me up on what I should be doing in preparation for the Slenderman plot? My two boys are in it, so I'll likely exclude Jono and Matt for sanity's sake.

I really don't want to do this (jeez, I've only been here for two weeks), but I have a bunch of RL-related stresses right now that aren't at all conducive to RP. I've really liked Paradisa for the short time I've been here, and you guys are some of the sweetest people I've met, but I don't have the time to dedicate to you guys, and that's just really unfair.

I do hope to come back, either with Kyouya or a different character, so hopefully you'll see me around in May the future. Until then, best of luck to everyone! <3

Ah. Hello! This is Ash, bringing back a certain archer some may remember.

Kate Bishop, aka Hawkeye, hails from Marvel comics! She's one of the Young Avengers, a team of teen vigilantes. She's taken right after Civil War: Young Avengers/Runaways.

She's a dedicated, passionate hero and a confident, snarky teenager.

Once again, her loss is the memory of Jessica Jones.

Do not adjust your speakers.  That ominous snkt noise was just Arden bringing in her third character: Wolverine, the very very popular anti-hero from Marvel's X-Men.  In the end, I decided to go with movie verse, so he won't recognize a lot of people.  Whatever man, Wolverine's always forgetting everything, nothing new there.

Logan's a mutant, infamous for his adamantium skeleton and retractable claws, which can slice through nigh on anything, like buttah.  He's also a regenerator, and possesses enhanced animal-like senses.  So don't be weirded out by all the sniffing.

On top of this, he's kind of a jerk.  Sometimes, it takes him awhile to warm up to people (and even when he does, he's often still a jerk).  Please don't take it personally: he's an equal opportunity asshole and you aren't being singled out.   

Wolverine's known for being ludicrously overpowered, so I'll try to get Dolly's census filled out, but I will at least have a list of all his abilities detailed in his journal soon.    

If your character is planning to pick a fight with him:

  1)  Don't.
  2)  If your character is undeterred by rule number one, at least speak to me OOC so we can work stuff out ;)

Canon point wise, Logan's coming from mid X-Men: The Last Stand, directly after Phoenix awoke and tried to have crazy evil sex with him until he realized Scott was probably dead and Jean broke through, pleading with Logan to kill her (and effectively killing the sexy mood as well).  He refused and Phoenix threw him into a wall; he'll be arriving upon waking up from that, convinced that he's been trapped in an illusion inside his own mind by Phoenix.  If anybody wants to undertake the fun challenge of proving to him that he's wrong, that'd be superfly.

Hiatus

So.

For those of you who don't know, February was a pretty stressful month for me. The kind of stress where it makes me want to tear out my hair, drop everything in my life and hide in a hole.

As I said when I posted this weekend, February needed to go die in a fire.

But in order to avoid knee-jerk drops that I'm going to regret, and to make my life just in general a little easier, I'm going to take a break, take some time to evaluate my RP commitments and see what comes out on the other side. I'm going to be taking a full hiatus from March 1 - March 31. If I manage to sort things out sooner, I'll be back sooner, but for right now I'm taking the full month just in case.

This being said, I will be working to try and finish the threads I already have open and I don't intend to drop them. I just will not be making any new posts, nor will I be tagging into any posts that are made. If you need me for anything regarding one of my characters, you are free to PM one of the journals, or catch me on AIM @ iluvroadrunner6.

Hi! This is Nica player of Almaz abravelikehero and Alessandro shotapope brining in a third character, Komachi from Touhou Project.

Komachi is a shinigami, specifically she's a ferryman and is the person who brings the recently deceased across the Sanzu River to be judged by the Yama. She's a bit of a slacker, but despite that she does take her job pretty seriously. She really enjoys talking to people and getting out and about when she can.

I'm currently on hiatus due to having been severely ill this past week, so hopefuly I'll be able to intro her soon and get back into the swing of things.

She has a pretty fun theme too, so here it is to enjoy.

Hey, new guy here.

I'm Sol (or Solomon, whichever), and I am bringing Kevin Flynn from the TRON franchise to join the existing cast here. For those unfamiliar with the canon and who care: Flynn is a hacker, an arcade owner, former corporate CEO, aaand, most importantly, a sort of deity for a digital world he's created. He will be arriving from a significantly different canon point (just a few cycles after CLU's betrayal) than the other TRON characters here, so he'll be just a little out of the loop at first. Also, it might be important to note that Flynn looks almost identical to CLU. On close inspection, he's got a few years on his program, though, if anybody's liable to notice.

Anyway, I was kind of baptized in the prose thing, so journal-style writing's relatively new to me. Expect me to throw some logs out there every once in a while.

Ha! Forgot to post this yesterday. Things happened and... yeah. It totally slipped me mind.

Cubie is going on a little loss-- that being the loss of its inanimate form.

For a little over a week probably, the Companion Cube is going to be wandering around as a human kid. While this might not seem much like a loss, really... the Cube sure thinks of it as such. Having a moving organic body is really not all that much fun for something that is used to sitting around being an awesome cube all day.

So... have fun with the new blank-faced androgynous kid, folks. It will still gladly hold your stuff for you.

doopdoop, this is Daisy aka your friendly neighborhood pirate doctor reindeer (doublehats), taking a shot at bringing in a second character! This mysterious handsome stranger is Minagawa Hifumi, from an itty-bitty obscure series called Cafe Kichijouji de. It was originally a rather popular drama CD series that was then adapted into a three-volume manga. There's also a live-action drama but I refuse to acknowledge its existence. :I However, Minagawa is strictly manga-verse only.

Now, who is this guy? He's a skilled chef of a small cafe, a loving cat owner and... kind of really digs the occult/black magic/dark arts/anything that exists in the world that is absolutely horrid and morbid and would bring chills to a normal human being's spine. BUT DON'T WORRY. He's safe.

Seriously, Minagawa is so totally safe. :>

For anyone familiar with the series (?!), his loss is his memories of his pet cat Sukekiyo. And for anyone not familiar, MAKE YOURSELF FAMILIAR. Scanlations were unfortunately dropped before volume 3 so as far as I know, you can only read up to the end of volume 2 online. Also, there's actually a fourth volume that hasn't been released in the US, but I happen to own a copy so I'll be including some canon information from there as well (for example, Minagawa needs to stay indoors when it rains, because rain makes this happen).
