This may not come as a surprise: foronewish is getting dropped, and duplicatewitch is going with her back to the sheer madness that is her canon. Which is why I haven't commented to AC with threads for her. I'm so sorry.

I have been fortunate enough to have wonderful castmates in the short period of time spent playing her, as well as the beginnings of what would certainly have been great CR. I have also been fortunate enough to come across plenty of material which has allowed me to reflect on how my portrayal has been.

Apologies go out to the Geass cast and those who knew her. I still harbour hopes of re-applying someday after...reviewing canon for another few hundred thousand times and working on areas requiring improvement. But until then, the princess is no longer in this castle. (；艸

So. Bela is a little antisocial and needs to make some more friends. She's willing to do it (never mind the fact that it took her two years to get there) but according to the castle, she's not doing it fast enough. (Two years. Come on.)

Hence, one-day temp loss.

The castle is going to compel Bela to introduce herself to everyone in the castle. She will be going door to door and knocking, and she won't be allowed to move until she's talked to the person inside for varying amounts of time -- just to make things interesting for her, and to keep her from bailing before the conversation is finished.

I'm going to throw up a post with her in a sec, and if you'd like to poke at a pretty, snarky British thief, feel free to toss 'em in. Just put their room number in the subject line so I know how tired she is/what end of the day it is. Because, of course, the castle is making her do all of this on foot.

If you don't want to poke at her, that's cool too, we'll just say that your character wasn't home at the time Bela was knocking, and she'll move on to the next door. I just felt that this might be fun for some random CR.

And it didn't even give her some time to put on sensible shoes. Feel free to mock.

Semi-hiatus

I'm heading off to London tomorrow to go hang with Ena and do awesome things, like mock terrible GO fanart and basically take over the world. I'm taking my laptop with me, so I should still be able to play around here, but I'm throwing up a semi-hiatus just in case. I'll be back in cold, miserable and much less exciting Wales on Wednesday.

Rin is going on an infectious kitty loss. This is all a bit experimental really, so bear with me.

In the near future, Rin is going to be waking up turned into a small and adorable kitty. See icon. But there's a twist: she's not just stuck as an animal all on her lonesome - she's an infectious kitty. What does that mean?

If a resident touches her (this is where I need some people who would bear with the whole silly thing, volunteers of CR new and old are welcome) they will also turn into a small, adorable cat. Draw your kitty icons, find real!kitty icons to suit your character, use the kitty generator to make some icons, it's all up to you.

And there's a little more potential here: the residents who are turned into cats, depending on number of volunteers, will also have a chance at being infectious kitties, turning other residents who opt in into kitties when touched as well. Residents who aren't transformed from Rin have no chance at being infectious kitties, to prevent this whole silly thing from erupting into a... catscade.

How I'll be doing this is RNGing a number from one to ten, and if I get a number that's a multiple of three, your character can also be an infectious kitty. None of the people they transform will be infectious though, and obviously this is all opt-in - no one should be transforming other residents by surprise! Also, if you DON'T want your character to be a carrier, they don't have to be. And depending on how many people do or don't want, if you really really do want your character to be a carrier, they can be. I'm going to play this by ear a bit. The goal is just a silly loss that is fun for everyone involved!

I figure the transformation for Rin will only last three days. Feel free to keep your own characters as cats for more time or less time, according to your preference.

So, Friday I was promoted.

It is still sinking in, and life is bound to be a bit hectic for --- yeah who knows? But I will learn to manage it.

It is no secret I am a retail manager. Well, I was just promoted to a higher volume store in what is essentially the highest profile GM job in the entire country. Back to that part about it all still sinking in.

Expect be to be a bit slower for a bit. But I will get there. I promise!
